RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 26-05-2025 Split in the Majority at the eve of the elections
Greens at loggerheads with PSD and PNC on energy and strategic resources and it is clear that they are heading for elections as adversaries
February 5645
ROMULA - With just a few months to go until the next elections, the government coalition formed by the Democratic Socialist Party (PSD), the Party of New Communists (PNC) and the Greens' Movement (MdV) now seems close to breaking up. At the heart of the growing rift are increasingly deep differences on the management of the country's strategic resources and on energy policy, in particular on the role of nuclear power. The Greens, who for years have set aside many of their positions in the name of coalition stability, have begun to make their voices heard forcefully again. They accuse their government partners of pursuing an industrial policy blind to the serious environmental consequences of the intensive exploitation of resources, also denouncing the total lack of involvement of local communities in decision-making processes. According to them, PSD and PNC are only interested in expanding the industrial sector and creating jobs, sacrificing the environment and democratic participation. On the energy front, the nuclear issue has returned to the fore. The Greens, already forced to bite the bullet for five years, have relaunched their clear opposition, recalling the support received from the electorate most sensitive to the issues of disarmament and clean energy. Concerns that in the country arose already in the aftermath of the nuclear attack on Xampa, which still today fuels mistrust on the dual use of atomic technologies. PSD and PNC reject the accusations, branding the Greens' line as "environmental extremism". In their opinion, the development of strategic resources is fundamental for economic growth, employment and competitiveness of Istalia on international markets. They also underline how it is possible to find a balance between environmental protection and industrial development, but that pragmatism and responsibility are needed. As regards nuclear power, both parties reiterate their position: it is the only way forward today to guarantee the country's energy independence and exports and, furthermore, both the parties agrees that ousting the nuclear Energy would be a blow for the national scientific research. The prospect of a definitive break is therefore becoming increasingly concrete. The Greens, although they have not formally withdrawn their parliamentary support, are preparing to run alone, aiming to oust the PNC as the second force on the left. PSD and PNC, for their part, seem ready to capitalize on the fear that the environmentalist line could slow down or compromise the country's growth. Meanwhile, there is cautious optimism in the opposition; the crisis in the majority is fueling hopes for a change of direction after years of left-leading governments, however, the strategies of the center-right front are being disturbed by the constant rise of the Alliance of Autonomies, which in Alaria has already won cross-party consensus and is emerging as a force capable of breaking the traditional balance of the Istalian political system. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 27-05-2025 Breaking News: Floria Monaldi has died
The mother of the imperial and democratic rebirth was 92 years old and the nation is ready to celebrate her memory with all honors
![]() 12 April 5645
CORNEDO AI COLLI — Floria Monaldi passed away peacefully at the age of 92, in her beloved estate in Cornedo ai Colli (province of Sàxera, Region of Nicoma) surrounded by the affection of her family. With her death, Istalia bids farewell to one of the most emblematic and decisive figures in its modern history. Co-founder of the Patriotic Front of Istalia, together with Mattia Appiano-Solari, who later became Emperor Mattia I, Floria Monaldi embodied the hope and strength of a nation devastated by dictatorship and war, guiding it along the difficult path of freedom and reconstruction. Courageously challenging the failing and authoritarian communist regime of the Socialist Republic of Istalia, Monaldi openly denounced the disastrous Peninsula War unleashed by the dictator Nevio Russo, and the shameful territorial division that followed. Having become a reference figure for the opposition, although hunted and condemned by the regime, she assumed the role of leader of the Resistance, coordinating the insurrectional effort starting from the Island of Alaria, the heart of the patriotic counteroffensive. It was thanks to her tireless leadership that Istalia was able to rise again and, step by step, reconquer the Peninsula, freeing it from the puppet governments installed by Kafuristan and Pontesi. In that very delicate historical passage, Floria Monaldi was one of the founding mothers of the new Imperial State, helping democracy to flourish again on the ashes of the dictatorship. In government, as first Minister Imperial Secretary of State, she engaged in a laborious but fruitful work of national reconstruction. She mended relations with the international community, obtained recognition of the sovereignty of reunified Istalia and, with tenacity, laid the foundations of a new era of peace, development and prosperity. Although she was not directly involved, Cementopoli, the corruption scandal that overwhelmed her party, marked the last act of her political career. Monaldi, immune from personal accusations, did not hesitate to harshly condemn the culprits and, with a high sense of state, resigned before the Emperor, assuming all political responsibility. A gesture that earned her further respect, even among her adversaries. As a sign of gratitude and solemn celebration of her figure, Mattia I awarded her the noble title of Duchess of Sàxera, the same created for her illustrious ancestor Eros Monaldi. Having retired from the public scene, she lived her last years away from the spotlight, dedicating herself to her family and the land she had loved so much, although she never failed to attend the most important celebrations of the country, always invited by the Crown and the institutions, at least as long as her strength supported her. However, even the figure of Floria Monaldi has dark sides and many contradictions. Over the years, growing tensions emerged with Emperor Mattia, once her close ally, a sign of a political and personal gap that could no longer be bridged. There was no shortage of criticism for the support she received from ultra-nationalist fringes, and some did not hesitate to accuse her of excessive ambition, speaking of a "hunger for power" that had guided her most controversial choices. The Cementopoli scandal also raised many doubts: was Monaldi really unaware of the network of corruption that nested among the ranks of her party? And what about her economic policies, which, while relaunching growth, accentuated social inequalities in many areas of the country? All these questions will now be a field of analysis for historians and political scientists. But beyond the shadows, there remains the legacy of a stateswoman who rewrote the destiny of an entire nation, imprinting her name in the collective memory of the Istalians: Floria Monaldi today enters by right into the pantheon of the greats of our history. Upon the news of her death, solemnly announced by the President of the National Congress during this afternoon's parliamentary session, the entire chamber stood up, observing a minute of silence followed by a long and moving applause. This evening, on all networks, His Majesty Alessandro V will give a speech to the Nation. A heartfelt remembrance of the long friendship between Monaldi and her father, Emperor Mattia I, and of their common battle against tyranny and occupation is expected, in honor of the one who was the voice, the face and the heart of the Resistance. The state funeral, already being organized, will be held within the week and promises to be a solemn celebration, worthy of one of the most brilliant and complex heroines in our history. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has initiated contacts with the chancelleries of all friendly nations to welcome foreign dignitaries and pay due homage to the great stateswoman that Floria Monaldi was. Elections 5645: Progressives lose majority! Hung Parliament?
The split between the Greens penalizes the outgoing government while the success among the military of the PNL and the exploit of the Alliance of Autonomies throws the country into political uncertainty
![]() July 5645
ROMULA - The general elections of 5645 mark a turning point in the Istalian political landscape with the outgoing majority, composed of the Democratic Socialist Party (PSD), the Party of New Communists (PNC) and the Greens' Movement (MdV), which exploded during the electoral campaign after months and months of tensions around a strategic issue: the management of national energy resources. The Greens' Movement has in fact abandoned the electoral race with its government partners following the failure to include priority measures for the energy transition in the joint program and the firm opposition of PSD and PNC to the decommissioning of nuclear power, another point strongly supported by the Greens. The PSD and PNC, thus deprived of a fundamental partner like the Greens, the latter supported especially by the younger segments of the population, with contrasting results failed to keep the parliamentary majority: the PSD suffered a significant decline especially among young people, part of the majatran minority and in the region of Alaria, where it lost ground to the Alliance of Autonomies (AdA), while the PNC recorded instead a surprising result, becoming the third national party, but insufficient alone to compensate for the loss of consensus and seats. The 7th National Congress of the Imperial State will therefore be formed as follows: PSD 161 PNL 160 PNC 51 UOD 48 MdV 23 AdA 22 MdC 4 D&L 3 PLR 2 Ind 1 The National Liberal Party (PNL), in constant growth, has gained ground compared to the PSD in the civilian polls but above all has cashed in on the success in the military vote: out of 119 seats reserved for members of the armed forces, 64 went to the PNL, guaranteeing the center-right formation a gap of just one seat compared to the PSD. A result that will clearly drastically change the balance of the National Congress and that makes vain, at the moment, even a possible rapprochement between PSD, PNC and Greens. The PNL attracted further consensus especially by leveraging the issue of the Majatran minority, protected and recognized by the previous government with a law that raised several discussions, and accusing the government, "in cahoots with the communists, of leading the country towards a dirigiste regime that oppresses freedoms", not holding back in making veiled references to the past communist regime. In Alaria, behind the PSD's haemorrhage of votes, as mentioned, there was the exploit of the Alliance of Autonomies, in which the Alarian component became the majority, which rode the growing discontent on the island for the inequalities compared to the Peninsula, catalyzing the autonomist vote and stopping just behind the Greens' Movement, although there is also, as said, a component of majatrans that seek autonomous statutes for them, judging the law on majatran recognition and protection a not entirely satisfactory solution. The AdA also absorbed consensus from various smaller forces, confirming itself as a territorial reality in strong growth, with an agenda centered on the redistribution of resources and the revision of the relationship between Alaria and the central government. In the rest of the country, the major cities, for a decade firmly controlled by the PSD, have now split between Socialists and National Liberals, while Caleon has seen a leap in preferences for the AdA. In the rest of the territory the Hosian Democratic Union has maintained its consensus more or less stable, confirming itself as a constant presence and which, in this electoral round, could represent one of the needles in the balance for the formation of the next government. The other minor parties have instead all registered declines, largely due to the strengthening of the Alliance of Autonomies and the general polarization of the electoral campaign around a few major identity and strategic issues. Behind the Alliance of Autonomies, therefore, are the Citizens' Movement (MdC - union of civic lists against the major parties) with 4 seats, Democracy & Freedom (D&L - a formation close to entrepreneurship) with 3 seats, the Republican Liberal Party (PLR) with 2 seats and finally one seat went to an independent, the Alarian nationalist Gian Filippo Marconato, elected in the 3rd constituency of Caleon, a district that includes many popular and working-class areas of the city. The reactions from the political leaders have been countless and today more than ever everyone has taken advantage of the debacle or success to reiterate their positions and attribute responsibilities, a partire dal Ministro Segretario di Stato Saragat who, when approaced by the press, commented on the election results focusing on the split with the Greens and the growth of the Autonomists, and then responding to journalists on her political future: Quote:The split with the Greens has weakened the progressive front, and despite the commitment in the majority to reconciliation, the Greens have chosen to abandon the path of dialogue and common responsibility to follow a line that is incompatible with the strategic objectives of the country. As for the Autonomists' success, this reflects a growing territorial unease, and our mistake was perhaps not to grasp the extent of this unease in time. Now we will have to work intensely to rebuild reformist unity on more solid and shared foundations. The Minister Secretary clearly glossed over the overtaking of the PNL among the military, but the Secretary General of the New Communists Armando Testa did not do the same, instead pointing the finger at the political-institutional system and the military: Quote:The election result marks a serious imbalance in democratic representation: despite the orientation expressed by the civil lists, it was the military component that determined the political balance. This result only strengthens our opposition to the constitutionally recognized role of the Armed Forces, which clearly do not act only as guarantors of institutional order and national identity. I am firmly convinced that the military vote represented a real retaliation for the approval of the law to protect the majatrans promoted by the government. If the Armed Forces intend to play an active political role, they should do so in compliance with the principles of pluralism and cohesion, not as an instrument of pressure or ideological defense! The Secretary of the National Coordination Committee of the Greens, Pietro Margheriti, who also resigned after an electoral campaign in which they expected an increase in consensus, briefly commented on the results but above all on the break with the government partners: Quote:They accused us of having closed the doors to any possibility of dialogue, but what we did was to say enough to passively accept the decisions of our allies. Faced with the risk of exploitation aimed only at creating new jobs and pushing production without attention to the protection of the environment and the natural heritage of the country, we have drawn a line. Responsibility, yes, but up to a certain point: we could not betray those who supported us and be co-responsible for what we fear will be inevitable serious repercussions for the environment. From the opposition, Valeriano Giunio, Secretary of the PNL, obviously rejoices, commenting on the results but above all on the criticisms from the parties of the outgoing majority: Quote:I believe that the outgoing majority is looking at the proverbial finger and not the Moon! The accusations of the New Communists in particular are unfounded and reveal a poor understanding of our system: the Istalian system provides by Constitution the active role of the military as guarantors of national unity and stability. Their vote for the PNL is the confirmation of trust in our positions and in our vision of the country and talking about retaliation is an offense to those who serve the State with discipline and loyalty. As for the rise of the autonomists, first of all let's look at those who have remained in power for fifteen years! It is the direct responsibility of the previous majority which, moreover, with the law on the protection of the majatrans has further fueled disintegrating pressures for mere electoral calculations. The PNL will continue to work to bring national identity, institutional cohesion and the indivisible interest of the country back at the center of the debates. For the Alliance of Autonomists, instead, the spokesperson of the Movement Daniela Signorini met the press, who did not spare barbs to anyone, neither from the majority nor from the opposition: Quote:PSD, PNC, PNL and all the other political forces that have taken turns in government in recent years have done nothing but ignore a problem that has distant roots in time. Many citizens and many territories have today expressed the clear will to receive fair attention and protection specifically dedicated to them and their territories, whether they are minority communities or an entire portion of the country, and we firmly believe that this comes from the recognition of the specificities of the territory and the recognition of greater consideration of local demands. We will make our voice heard, that's for sure, and we do not exclude our membership or external support for a government that is willing to listen to the territory and give concrete answers. With a Parliament without a clear majority and a PNL strengthened by the popular and especially military vote, a phase of negotiations is now opening that could prove to be long and complex. The outgoing Minister Secretary of State Annalisa Saragat has already submitted her resignation to the Emperor, who as is customary, accepted it with reservations asking the head of government to remain in office until the new executive is formed. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 28-05-2025 IL SOLE D'ISTALIA - REPORT ON A COUNTRY WHICH IS CHANGING August 5645 - International Edition In the aftermath of the vote: Istalians demand new answers
A young and growing population, unresolved territorial tensions, demand for housing, work and transparency: Istalia wakes up from the elections with the face of hope but also with new concerns and unsolved ancient issues
Young Istalians are the most concerned about the new challenges facing the country
A month is passed since the polls closed and the results made official, but the consultations to form a new government are expected to last for a long time. What emerges beyond the distribution of seats is the image of a country in profound transformation, where unsolved issues of the past coexist with the challenges of a future that is already knocking at the door. The election outcome has left the composition of a stable political majority pending, but has made the picture of the priorities that the next government, whatever it will be, will have to face without hesitation clearer. Istalia is today a demographically young nation, a direct consequence of the population boom recorded starting from the post-war reconstruction and continuing with constant growth. The third general census made in 5640 showed that the population had exceeded 161 millions, largely filling the demographic gap left by the losses suffered with the Peninsula War and the Great Patriotic War of Liberation, and it is expected that for the end of the first half of the century the population will exceed 165 millions. But in the face of a growing population, housing supply has not kept pace: large urban areas have suffered from a serious shortage of affordable housing for years, with low-to-medium incomes increasingly excluded from the real estate market. The result is widespread housing hardship, which pushes many young people to delay independence and to accept precarious working conditions. The generational issue is also intertwined with a growing social polarization: on the one hand, young people engaged in environmental battles and for a more equal society; on the other, an increasingly broad fringe that flows back towards anti-system movements or identity nationalism, in both cases as a reaction to a system perceived as distant and not very meritocratic. And in the middle, the great issue of youth employment, not only in terms of quantity, but also and above all of quality, stability and valorization of skills. And again: Alaria, the island that together with the Sarrentine Peninsula constitutes the geographical and historical territory of Istalia, remains at the center of one of the most sensitive political issues that are emerging since the post-war period. Despite its historical importance, both as the cradle of Istalian civilization and in the fight for liberation and in the birth of the Imperial State, Alaria still suffers today from a noticeable imbalance in industrial and infrastructural development compared to the rest of the country. Investments have been concentrated mainly in the Peninsula, fueling a constant internal migration from the island to the most dynamic centers on the continent. In the recent vote, the Alliance of Autonomies made a splash on Alaria, a symptom of a malaise that is not only economic, but also identity-related and political. The requests for more marked forms of autonomy, protected by the constitution, can no longer be ignored. Especially now that the island is clamoring for a significant part of the new industrial chain linked to the strategic raw materials recently discovered in the national subsoil, together with concrete guarantees on the implementation of the "Program Sea", the ambitious port and logistics relaunch plan at the heart of the country's growth prospects. Alongside the so-called "Alarian Question", the voice, so far a minority but present, of a part of the Majatran minority re-emerges, which, while recognizing itself in the fundamental principles of the Imperial State, does not feel fully satisfied by the law currently in force on linguistic and cultural protection. In this group nestle the fringes that in the past looked with sympathy on independence, and that had partly supported the project of the so-called Great Emirate of Quanzar, an entity declared independent under the occupation of Kafuristan, but which nevertheless managed to attract a part of the Majatran population in search of recognition and representation. Today, despite a changed framework, the requests for greater management autonomy for the Majatran communities are once again being heard, with requests that ask for models inspired by federal pluralism, and more incisive local governance in the cultural, scholastic and social fields. In the background, post-war economic growth has produced enormous opportunities, but also new forms of imbalance. Territorial and social inequalities have not decreased, and emerging criticisms of the fifteen years of left-wing government argue that, although much has been done to curb this trend, this has not been enough to reverse the trend. Further criticism, especially from the young population, came about large Istalian companies, increasingly projected abroad, for alleged opaque behavior in emerging countries, accused in some cases of contributing to dynamics of exploitation or economic neocolonialism. Added to this is the increased alarm over the activity of organized crime, which after years of silence has re-emerged in new, more sophisticated and globalized forms. From infiltration of industrial supply chains, to money laundering activities in commercial ports, through trafficking networks that touch internal regions and foreign borders, organized crime represents a systemic threat that until now has been too often underestimated in political debates. The next government will therefore be called upon to face a new historical phase, marked by challenges different from those that have characterized the long reform cycle led by the left over the last fifteen years. Social reforms, economic growth, international openness and reconstruction are now consolidated achievements, but today new critical issues are emerging, the result of demographic change, global dynamics and internal social transformation. The population, especially the younger one, is now turning its attention to different issues, such as the housing emergency, persistent inequalities, the ecological transition, transparency in the economy and the issue of territorial autonomy. In part, the left has found itself unprepared or slow to grasp the scope of these changes but doubts, probably even stronger, emerge on the possibility that the opposition could be more receptive. The task of the next executive will therefore be to give concrete and inclusive answers to these new questions, preserving what good has been built but adapting public action to a profoundly changing context. The question is whether the main political forces in parliament today are able to adapt. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 29-05-2025 The Emperor entrusts Gian Maria Moretti with the task of forming a technical government
Since the political solution is not viable, a transitional executive led by technicians is born: priorities are economic development, social justice and national cohesion
![]() Gian Maria Moretti meeting the press for the first time
November 5645
ROMULA – In a climate of great expectation and cautious hope, His Imperial Majesty Alessandro V has officially entrusted Gian Maria Moretti with the task of forming a technical government. The announcement came yesterday evening from Quattroregni Palace in the presence of representatives of the main political forces of the National Congress, at the end of more than four long and tiring months of consultations during which the hypothesis of new elections emerged several times. Gian Maria Moretti, an esteemed economist and former director of the National Institute of Statistics, will lead an executive formed by high-profile technical and administrative personalities, with the declared objective of leading the country out of the political stalemate and addressing the priority challenges on the economic, social and infrastructural level with competence and impartiality. The choice of a political outsider like Moretti comes at the end of complex consultations, during which there was no shortage of heated debate between the parliamentary forces. The situation in Congress is far from simple: with no bloc capable of reaching an absolute majority of the 238 seats, attempts to form a traditional political coalition quickly ran aground. The Democratic Socialist Party and the New Communists have not been able to fully remedy the break with the Greens, making the renewal of the previous left-wing coalition with the entry of a fourth party or its external support impracticable. On the opposite front, the National Liberal Party and the Hosian Democratic Union, now with converging interests, have not found sufficient numbers when confronted with the other parties. Even the option of a grand coalition between the largest parties proved to be ineffectual due to the excessive distance between their respective programs and the opposition to having a representative of one of the other party appointed as head of government. Even the option to take on board the Hosian Democrats and appoint one of them failed on the strong opposition of the PSD far-left wing which, with the resignation of Annalisa Saragat as party's Secretary, is increasing its influence within the party. In this context, the hypothesis of entrusting the government to a military figure, in particular to a high-ranking officer active in the field of international diplomacy, has also emerged in recent months. However, this proposal, which would have guaranteed firmness and authority in the short term, was firmly rejected by a significant part of Congress. The strongest opponents were the PNC and the Greens, but the PSD too raised deep doubts, evoking the risks of creating a precedent and underlining the need to maintain the principle of the civil direction of the State, a principle respected during the last 15 years of PSD-leading government. In light of this impasse, the Emperor therefore decided to follow the path of political neutrality, opting for a transitional government based on technical competence. The speech given in the evening by Alessandro V in front of the state authorities, the political forces and the press, underlined the urgency of joining forces and overcoming divisions in the name of the common good, also remembering with emotion the figure of Floria Monaldi, recently deceased, as an example of service to the nation. Among the key points of the mandate entrusted to Moretti are:
Gian Maria Moretti has accepted and already met the press to expose his plans and in the next few days he will begin informal consultations with political and social forces, to form the team of ministers. The first names are already circulating, there will be a lot of expertises but also names from the largest parties will be lickely included, and a meeting with the President of the National Congress and the parliamentary groups is expected already this week to define the timing of the confidence vote. On the parliamentary level, the new technical government will be able to count on a very large majority, thanks to the availability of the main parties, PSD, PNL and UOD, who have welcomed the Emperor's proposal with a sense of responsibility and have said they are ready to support such an executive that guarantees stability and institutional continuity. On the other hand, the positions of the Greens and the Citizens' Movement are of the opposite nature, having announced a clear opposition, denouncing a "suspension of the popular will" and a distancing from social issues. The New Communists, while expressing strong reservations, have not ruled out external support, but have asked that the government program include concrete measures in favor of workers and young generations. Finally, the Alliance of Autonomies has welcomed the attention given to Alaria, particularly on the economic and infrastructural level, but has underlined that it will be essential to also address the unresolved political issues of the island, starting with forms of protected and guaranteed institutional autonomy. In the meantime, however, public opinion appears divided: while on the one hand many citizens welcome the choice of a third and competent figure, others fear that the absence of a direct political mandate could limit the new government's ability to carry out profound reforms. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 29-05-2025 CORRIERE D'ISTALIA December 5645 - International edition THE OPINION | A technical government is not a crisis of politics, but a conscious and targeted response to the complexity of the present by Antonio Dalbano – Political scientist, senior lecturer at the High Accademy of Social and Internaltional Sciences "Carlo Aurelio Gianti" of Romula ![]() Professor Dalbano The appointment of Professor Gian Maria Moretti to form a technical government has rekindled the debate on the state of Istalian politics and the stability of its institutions. Some critical voices, particularly from the most ideologically driven circles or from sectors of disillusioned public opinion, have interpreted this choice as a sign of structural weakness: politics that abdicates, representative institutions that fail, the proportional system that only produces paralysis. But this is a partial and, in many respects, short-sighted reading. The use of a technical government in a delicate phase of national life, rather than representing a failure, testifies to the ability of a democratic system to equip itself with flexible tools to deal with moments of exceptionality. The Constitution does not specify whether the Head of State must appoint a member of the legislature or a representative of a political force in forming the government. Neither the electoral law nor other ordinary laws regulate this aspect: the only explicit constraint is that the Minister Secretary of State and the Government obtain the confidence of Congress and maintain it in order to remain in office. The legislators have therefore entrusted the supreme and impartial figure of the State, the Emperor, with a central role, as mediator and decision-maker, capable of intervening when the political forces are unable, or unwilling, to find a shared solution. This possibility should not be seen as an anomaly, but rather a sign of institutional maturity, which reflects millennia of democratic and constitutional practices that have marked the history of the country. In fact, not every government crisis is a crisis of the system. The proportional system introduced two legislatures ago, and now fully tested, has expanded representation and favored the plurality of political and territorial demands. It is natural that in a more fragmented Parliament the difficulties in building solid and lasting majorities increase, but this is a reflection of the complexity of Istalian society, not a malfunction of the democratic system. The difficulties in forming a political government after the last elections must be read in this light: physiological divergences, made more acute by a rapidly changing international and internal context. The growing weight of regional issues, such as the request for autonomy by the island of Alaria, the emergence of new social tensions in the younger segments of the population, and the new challenges related to the management of strategic resources and housing policies, made it clear that a leader capable of acting promptly, competently and neutrally was needed. In this context, the figure of Gian Maria Moretti, economist, academic and former international advisor, emerged as the natural solution to ferry the country towards a phase of stabilization. The role of the Emperor was crucial in this scenario. Alessandro V once again demonstrated that he was a discreet but present referee, capable of reading the signs of the times and of orienting the political debate without ever going beyond the boundaries of his constitutional role. After intense consultations, in which heterogeneous proposals emerged, including the one of entrusting the government to a senior officer of the Armed Forces with diplomatic experience, a possiblity supported by the majoritarian interpretation of the provisions about the instituzionalized role of the Armed Forces, even as last line of defense of the democratic institutions and national integrity and stability, the monarch opted for a choice that avoided any element of polarization or ideological tension. The military proposal, in fact, was forcefully rejected by parties such as the PNC and the Greens, but also by significant sectors of the PSD, who raised the issue of political neutrality and civil primacy as essential conditions. The imperial decision was able to grasp the heart of the country's current needs: to address, not evade, the new economic and social challenges; to re-establish a framework of stability without sacrificing political representation; to give citizens back the perception of a State capable of acting, without paralyzing ideological conflicts. In this sense, the technical government is not born as a tool "against" politics, but at the service of a politics that has temporarily chosen to step aside for the collective good. It should also be emphasized that this executive will not be a simple government of ordinary management. On the contrary, the objectives assigned are relevant and challenging: addressing the housing crisis that has hit the low and medium-income groups, guiding the expansion of the industry linked to strategic materials, strengthening the infrastructural fabric between the Sarrentine Peninsula and the island of Alaria, and giving a signal of attention to young people, increasingly eager for opportunities, security, and social justice. On the international level, the Moretti government will be called upon to continue the diplomatic revival already underway, starting with the long-awaited visit to Mordusia and the start of new agreements with key players such as Baltusia, Bianje, and Liore. Ultimately, what is emerging is a government of high responsibility, legitimized not by a direct popular mandate, but by a very broad parliamentary convergence that recognizes its function and necessity. It will be a temporary government, but not transitory; technical, but not sterile; independent, but not disengaged. An experience that, if conducted with intelligence and transparency, will be able to strengthen and not weaken citizens' trust in the institutions. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 30-05-2025 Moretti Government installed: priority to foreign policy
The executive is preparing to organize the long-awaited state visit to Mordusia and a historic meeting with the Government of Solentia
![]() February 5646
ROMULA - The Moretti Government, installed just two months ago, has decided to focus the first efforts of the government on Istalian foreign policy, opening two important diplomatic fronts: the official visit to Mordusia and a historic meeting with the Government of the newly formed Ahmadi Republic of Solentia. Emperor Alessandro V himself, accompanied by the Minister of Defense Admiral Clelia Minucci and the Minister of Economy, National Industry and Trade Agostino Minghetti, will lead the Istalian delegation to the Mordusian capital of Rechtenburg. A long-awaited visit, postponed for months due to the elections and their uncertain results, but which today is finally formalized, also at the strong insistence of the Crown itself and the Defense leaders which sollicitated Moretti to focus first of all on this topic. For Istalia, the opening of a strategic dialogue with Mordusia is considered a fundamental step for stability and security in the region, as well as an opportunity to lay the foundations for a new economic and commercial partnership with one of the most dynamic Seleyan realities that, significantly, lies just across the Sea of Lost Souls. The interest of the defense in the meeting arises from the fact that the recent positioning in Mordusia of a naval tactical group of Luthori has not gone unnoticed. While on the one hand Romula does not consider this move as a threat, also strong of cordial relations with Fort William, on the other hand the geopolitical developments in the north-western area of Majatra are not underestimated, where the activity of Luthori has seen a recent surge in Amudim. The meeting in Rechtenburg will therefore also be an opportunity to obtain direct reassurances on issues of maritime security and military projection in the southern area of the Southern Ocean. In parallel, Romula is preparing to welcome a delegation from the Government of the Ahmadi Republic of Solentia. The meeting will be led by Minister Secretary of State Moretti, in what many have already defined as “a historic step”, while others, more cautious, are wary of the opening towards a regime still perceived as fragile and unstable, of a country with which relations have always been difficult and that have totally disintegrated in the second half of the last century. At the heart of the discussions will be the process of normalization of bilateral relations, pending for too long and there are many dossiers on the table: cooperation in border control and in the prevention of illegal immigration, reassurances and facilitations for the transit and trade of Istalian goods, collaboration in the fight against extremist groups and religious radicalism, and finally, protection measures for the large Istalian community present in Solentia. On the front of the fight against radicalism, the Istalian government didn't forget that in Solentia, for many years, numerous Ahmadi extremist groups have found refuge, taking advantage of the chronic instability that has hit the country. From these bases, often located in areas that have escaped state control, attacks on Istalian territory were planned and launched during the Peninsula War, and it is well documented that many of the militiamen who fought in defense of the Grand Emirate of Quanzar came from these environments and maintained direct ties with the same fundamentalist networks. For this reason, Istalia intends to obtain clear guarantees from the new government of the Ahmadi Republic regarding the commitment to fight these groups, and says it is ready to offer substantial cooperation, including by sending experts in the social and educational fields to support Solentia in adopting policies aimed at preventing radicalization. Direct Financial and investment support is not excluded, in the knowledge that fanaticism takes root where there is poverty, insecurity, social isolation and distance from institutions. Initiatives are also being studied to send jurists and imams from Istalian Ahmadi communities and schools to Solentia, so that they can support their local colleagues in a joint action of pacification and normalization also on a religious level. About the Istalian community, today there are approximately 3 million Istalians resident in the country, concentrated mainly in the south-east and along the eastern coasts. A historical and deep-rooted presence, which grew in particular under the Third Empire, and which over time has contributed significantly to the economic and social life of entire regions. In some areas, the Istalians now represent the majority compared to the population of Artanian descent, the so-called "Kansari", whose number has been constantly decreasing since, during the 47th century, the country firmly rediscovered its Majatran roots. The Istalian community in Solentia has resisted even the darkest periods, such as during the last civil war, when it also became the target of fundamentalist groups. In many cases, as happened in similar contexts in the past, Istalian families and businesses have organized themselves autonomously for their own defense, forming local militias or hiring private military contractors, often Istalian, who have become over time a stable element of the social fabric and a valid alternative to the lack of state protection forces, and who have long found just beyond national borders a way to circumvent Istalian legislation that, virtually since always, has been against the activity within national borders of paramilitary groups and private contractors. With these two appointments, the Moretti Government continues firmly on the path left by Saragat and before her by Monaldi in placing Istalia at the center of regional dynamics and in reaffirming its role as a responsible and proactive actor in the Majatra quadrant and in the international context. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 31-05-2025 ISTALIA TODAY | CULTURE & SOCIETY Milona shines again: the first Fashion Week of the new era
Milona and Castiell 'e Sciorenza turn the spotlight back on Istalian fashion: between catwalks, tradition and innovation, Istalia aims to reconquer the global scene
April 5646 - International Edition
![]() After years of waiting and suspensions, the Istalian fashion industry is ready to return to the international spotlight: the first Milona Fashion Week of the new era is now upon us. Organized by AssoModa, the national association of Istalian fashion, with the joint support of the Ministry of Economy, National Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Culture and Education, the event has the ambitious goal of bringing the Istalian fashion industry back to the top of the world scene, renewing a tradition that has marked the cultural and productive history of the country. Remembering the golden age of the sector under the Third Empire, when Istalia and Lourenne dictated the law in the world of haute couture, the big names and historic maisons are preparing to regain the limelight. Narsece, Zungaro, Barattini, Ermenegildo Brega will open the catwalk with their iconic collections, while new promises such as Casa Lucci, Miranda, Carlo Zanin and numerous emerging houses will compete for the attention of the international press and buyers. AssoModa, also supported by official state channels, has already started a dense network of contacts with the main organizations in the fashion sector of numerous foreign countries, as well as with some of the most prestigious international fashion houses, with the declared aim of bringing the global crème de la crème to the Milona catwalks. The ambition is clear: to make once again the Milona Fashion Week not only a showcase for national talent, but a global crossroads of style, creativity and innovation, relaunching Milona as one of the great fashion capitals of the planet. Milona, capital of the Ferano region, is preparing to experience intense and glittering days. The city's exhibition area, completely renovated in the last five years, will host a good part of the official events, but the fashion shows and showcases will also housed in the historic locations and most prestigious buildings in the city center. As per tradition, the city will transform into an open-air stage, with events, parties and urban installations that will accompany the fashion week, attracting not only professionals, but also thousands of tourists and enthusiasts. To underline the symbolic and cultural importance of the event, the High Patronage of the Imperial House has be accorded, which will contribute directly through the GFCAB. The Grand Princess of the Crown, Melissa, will be the exceptional patroness of the event, a gesture that confirms the national prestige of the revival of the fashion sector as part of the new cultural and productive impetus of the country. But the excitement is not limited to Milona. Castiell 'e Sciorenza, the city mirrored in the waters of the Bellavista, has long since returned to make itself heard in the national fashion scene. Since 5633, with the support of the local Chamber of Commerce and the commitment of Michelangelo Mascetti della Lungara, descendant of an ancient noble family of the city recently honored with the reconstitution of the ancient family title of Count of Lungara by the Emperor to honor and celebrate his efforts for the resurgence of the sector in Castiell 'e Sciorenza, the city has relaunched two historic events: the Gran Fiera ModaPelle, a showcase of excellence for luxury fashion houses and artisans specialized in leather and hide processing, and the Scarpashowcase, an unmissable event for footwear and accessory manufacturers. Everything suggests that Istalian fashion is ready to reclaim its place of honor among the capitals of taste and style, bringing Milona and the whole of Istalia back to the center of the scene, where tradition and innovation once again intertwine in the name of elegance. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 01-06-2025 Vertech enters the digital market with the search engine "Veritas" and the AI platform "Vivia"
Collaboration between Vertech and the University of Burìa centered at the Tecnocittà as well as with TEA which aims to return to the forefront of the hardware sector
![]() Gabriele Verratti presenting Veritas and Vivia August 5646 MILONA - Vertech, one of the Istalian giants of advanced technology, makes its entry into the digital sector with the presentation at its headquarters of Milona of two cutting-edge products that could completely rewrite the rules of the game: the search engine "Veritas" and the artificial intelligence platform "Vivia", with which the search engine is fully integrated. The presentation of these new products marks a turning point for the national technological landscape and beyond. The names chosen by the company are not random: Veritas, from the Selucian meaning "truth", aims to become the new oracle of the web, positioning itself as a reliable, transparent search engine capable of providing pertinent and contextualized answers. Vivia, on the other hand, merges the concept of vivacity and vitality ("Viva" in Istalian means "alive") with that of AI (Intelligenza Artificiale: "IA", in Istalian), recalling the high performance and reactivity of the new platform. As per company tradition, both names maintain the initial V, a distinctive trademark of Vertech products. On a technical level, Veritas promises navigation enhanced by semantic and contextual understanding algorithms, supported by Vivia, the neural heart of the system. The latter is a latest-generation AI platform, capable of continuous learning, deep linguistic processing, content generation and multimodal interaction. Vivia's architecture is built on high-performance neural networks, capable of integrating information from different formats and sources in real time, offering the user an intelligent and personalized synthesis of the answers sought. The development of Vivia was the result of an excellent collaboration between the IT research department of Vertech and the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Neural Networks of the Faculty of Computer Science of the University of Burìa, with which the company collaborates and which it has supported financially for years. Vertech's contribution was crucial in the restructuring and renovation of the university headquarters at Tecnocittà, the famous cutting-edge research center established under the Third Empire through the recovery of a large abandoned and redeveloped industrial area in the heart of the city of Burìa. Tecnocittà itself is experiencing a new period of rebirth, thanks to the investment programs launched in the early years of the Third Restoration and the decisive contribution of companies such as Vertech, which has established its main research centers in the field of information technology and advanced materials there. Just as the then second Saragat Government had hoped, the Burìa scientific hub is establishing itself as one of the centers of excellence in national and international scientific research, and the synergy with the private sector is only consolidating this position. During the presentation press conference, Gabiele Verratti, CEO of Vertech, also announced a strategic agreement with TEA (from the Istalian for "Advanced Electronic Technologies"), a historic company from Całeon that recently returned to private hands after a long period of crisis and restructuring led by the IMERIN group, which we remind readers is the Imperial Authority for National Reconstruction, controlled by the Ministry of Economy, National Industry and Trade, today the largest economic group in the country (controlling even the megaconglomerate AUDISS). With this agreement, TEA aims to relaunch itself as a leading player in the IT hardware sector, while the state is implementing one of the first measures to relaunch the industrial development of Alaria. TEA, as mentioned, was once a leader in the production of electronic components such as microprocessors, integrated systems, chipsets, graphics processors, FPGAs and other devices for servers, PCs and embedded applications, and now aims to regain a prominent position in the market. To do so, it has chosen not only to ally itself with Vertech, but also to invest, together always with IMERIN, in the supply chain for the processing of strategic minerals and rare earths, crucial resources for the high-tech sector. This vertical integration could give the company a competitive advantage in terms of both costs and skills. Vertech's entry into the digital market is therefore not just the launch of new tools, but represents a decisive step towards a new phase of Istalian technological leadership, supported by a synergy between the public and private sectors that could become a replicable model for other strategic sectors. RE: Istalia - XanderOne - 02-06-2025 Istalia alongside Utaristan to support the "Megaproject"
After the dissolution of the Dovanian Development Fund by Xsampa, Cise Government finds in Romula a partner for financial and technical support
![]() Istalian ambassador in Utaristan Emanuele Marsili meeting Minister of Foreign Affairs Arken Begum
October 5646
The economic horizon of Utaristan could soon change face thanks to the massive entry of Istalian capital and expertise. Following the recent dissolution of the Dovanian Development Fund (DDF) by the Xsampa government, the numerous infrastructure projects under development in the northern Dovanian country, including railway networks, ports and mining plants, collectively called "Megaprojects", which relied precisely on the DDF, have suffered severe slowdowns and setbacks, so much so as to trigger an economic and political crisis. Although Utaristan has already established agreements with other nations, such as Luthori and Egelion, and expects to access new resources through the renewed Xsampan mechanism of the Dovani Commons Compact, it is now clear that the available funds will be significantly lower than those guaranteed in the past by the DDF. Faced with this situation, opening up to new international players has become a necessity and among these, Istalia has the opportunity to establish itself as a privileged partner. Thanks to a recent series of trade and economic cooperation agreements with several Dovani countries, including Utaristan, the Istalian Government has laid the foundations for a structured and ambitious intervention to support Utaristan's economic development. The fulcrum of the initiative will be the "Istalian Strategic Investment Fund", which will be joined by numerous private investors and some of the country's main financial and banking groups. The sectors of interest are many, with the mining sector standing out as the most promising. "SNPE - National Prospecting and Extraction Company", already present with its own office in Imoryi, the economic capital of the country, sees the agreement as a concrete opportunity to expand its operations. Similarly, other Istalian companies are exploring the Utaristan market as a new outlet for their technological and industrial know-how, like "State Railways Group" or "Impresa Costruzioni De Benedetti", the latter being today the largest engineering and construction company of Istalia, specialized in large infrastructures (like the recently inaugurated Val Tasacca Hydroelectric Dam or several important sections of both the highway and railway networks). The coordination of the activities will be entrusted to the Department for Foreign Investment of the Ministry of Economy, National Industry and Trade, which, in collaboration with the Istalian Embassy in Cise, will act as a mediator between the local authorities and the interested economic operators. Financing Agreements will be negotiated with very advantageous conditions for Utaristan: long repayment periods, favorable rates and flexibility in the methods of disbursement. For Istalian investors, the initiative will be guaranteed by the "Export Credit Insurance Fund", entity heir of the International Investment Insurance Agency and controlled by "Deposits and Consignments Fund" since the time of the Socialist Republic. The Insurance Fund, as per its mandate, will take care of insuring and/or reinsurance of the risks associated with investments in Utaristan, a fundamental support for encouraging private initiative and reducing the economic exposure of the companies involved. The good growth prospects of Utaristan combined with the still largely unexploited natural resources make the country a market with enormous potential. And in this new chapter of Dovanian cooperation, Istalia presents itself not only as an economic partner but as a promoter of sustainable development and shared growth. |
