RE: A Battle Unseen - Dredd - 10-01-2025 Quote:Sládek read over the report on the Aldegar canal crisis. The veins on his neck bulged as he clenched his jaw RE: A Battle Unseen - Dredd - 11-01-2025 [Kasaema, Presidents Office, May 15th, 5599] Quote:Sládek lit a gold filtered cigarette and read the reports once again on the five year plan. He had hoped to complete everything in time, but geopolitics had made that an impossibility now. They had increased production, built new farms, but the roads remained unfinished and the rails half built. He sighed and finished writing the names of those to be executed as saboteurs and foreign spies, and gave the press orders to claim they had overachieved the 5 year plan regardless. They could not focus on the domestic situation anymore, it was time for the massive penal labor force and new industrial sectors to build their new projects, one that would help alleviate the massive issue Kundrati continued to face abroad. The navy RE: A Battle Unseen - Kubrick - 12-01-2025 Aprtr Szienz Research Facility, secret location, Jelbic People's Soviet Republic of Vanuku (WJZR), 5 May 5599, 10:21 His eyes widened ever further as he read the document the Minister just handed to him. "And the entire Politburo wants this?" Bulut P'ílkotr nodded. The Minister of Defence had once been an officer in the Royal Guard, the grizzled soldier had renounced the monarchy and now headed the largest Jelbic military. "Unanimous approval, the Wrntuhiko signed off on it too." This document was his wildest dream, something he had dreamed about but never expected. The addition of the pro-nuclear Green Scourge to the Politburo had given him hope, but more an expanded nuclear reactor research kind of hope. "We will pick up where the reactionaries left off, Comrade Minister." The minister stared deep into his soul for a while, nodded, and left. A century ago a project had been started, the fascists had called it Skrjintifetak'ai, the harbinger of chaos. An ominous and dark name for something that deserved respect. The monarchists after were more traditional, with Bunjamín ordered a program called Ztarmojad III, or scourge, as the previous two projects under guidance of the Banmek-Sntazed's had been called. The document in front of him had a much simpler and more innocent word: H'áberz. The messenger. And what a message it would carry. There had been missiles plenty, even ICBM's, the royalist missile drills amidst the siloes had never been recalled. The program to create a new payload however had been. But now they were back on. He suspected the escalations with Beiteynu were a part of it, war was close and the great Soviet Republic would need everything to defend itself against the reactionary unenlightened. RE: A Battle Unseen - Elena1012 - 12-01-2025 Memory of the Lost October 10th, 5599 Metz-Leonid, Xsampa 10:02 AM ------------------------ Aurousseau put the phone down. She made her wishes very clear to the PCFA, and to the XDAN. Advancing eastwards to the Red Bass was not to conquer Beitenyu but force a peace. It was tragic enough that war had occured. Perhaps her legacy could be made better if she put an end to that war and defanged Beitenyu. Perhaps. She got up from her desk and looked out to the window. It was a lovely day in Metz-Leonid. Maybe a peace could come about if the CSS for into touch with some contacts. Maybe? She couldn't help but stop staring outside the window. Seeing so much Xsampans, all their lives in her hands. This war took away many Xsampans from their families. She couldn't let more be taken away. All the XDAN has to do was keep the pressure up so Beitenyu could be forced to the negotiation table and a peace could be established. This war had to come to an end. More lives couldn't be wasted on a war. As she stared outside, contemplating how to end the war, the emergency sirens went off. All across the city. Something was happening. Before she could even gather her thoughts, a boom was heard. And then, nothing. ------------------------ 09:58 AM ------------------------ Ugyen Jungne was enjoying the views of Metz-Leonid. Despite living here his full life, the city was still beautiful. He was off today so he was able to enjoy the city after dropping his kids off at school. The war didn't worry him one bit. Xsampa was winning and besides, his family wasn't a military family. He had a few friends in the air force but they weren't currently deployed in the Red Bass. The paper didn't tell him to worry so why should he? He had no reason to distrust the paper. His life was good, and he was certain that his children would have a good life. He checked his phone, 10:00 AM it read. Maybe he should head home now and relax? He was off today and it would be nice to bond with his spouse. As he boarded the metro, his phone went off again. An emergency alert. "Shelter in place immediately." His heart sank when the sirens went off. Something bad was happening. He instantly was worried for his kids and his spouse. People started panicking around him. This wasn't just a normal missile strike. Was it? The military would've handled it, surely. 10:03 read the clock on his phone, he quickly got off the metro and started running through the crowds of people, horrified and scared. He was scared too. Not for himself but for his family. He instantly tried to call his spouse while running in the direction of the school to get his children. It didn't matter, nothing else did, only getting them to safety. Before the phone could even be picked up, there was a loud boom. And Ugyen felt nothing. RE: A Battle Unseen - Elena1012 - 12-01-2025 A Letter to Yishelem Quote:Ms. Kadiyot RE: A Battle Unseen - Kubrick - 13-01-2025 Black Room (military command centre), the Hosheh, Kingdom of Beiteynu, 11 October 5599, 13:08 These past two days had been the longest of his life. Ever since that one phone call everything had gone to ashes. Attacking the Xsampans.. they had deserved an escalation. The revolutionaries in Wiel's demands had been too tight. But ever since then he also knew they would have listened, they would have made a deal. A compromise that would have kept both sides happy. Then the nuclear bomb? Hellfire had become reality.. The politicians and generals no longer asked for his input, even though he was still officially the Meleh and Commander-in-Chief. Nobody bothered him though, he could go wherever he wanted. He turned to his personal Royal Guard, a fellow exile he had known since he was a boy. A grizzled veteran he trusted with his life. "Show it again." The man whipped out his phone and together they watched the aftermath of the nuclear detonation one more time. All those lives, all civilians. The flames, the smoke, the ashes, the tinder. It all burned into his brain. He rubbed the bridge of his nose and fought hard to control his emotions. After a while he pushed the phone away. "What have we done?" He muttered, looking up at Jeztri after. "We- no. I have made the greatest mistake. I have failed everything my father built, broken it down, destroyed it. Now all I have are ashes. They were right, Jeztri, they were right to kick me out all those years ago." The silence was long and hard after, even with all the talking in the room. As they were walking out the Hosheh the Royal Guard finally found the courage to speak. "If.. if I may, Your Majesty?" He stopped walking and looked at Jeztri, ready to find out how loyal he would be. "We can always return home, sire. Home to Wrnuke.. I- I have heard they didn't execute a single one of the Guard, most of the royal family still live there too, th-they all have their titles, Your Majesty, just no further rights." He wanted to speak further but he raised his hand to silence him. For a moment fear showed in the eyes of the Guardsman, but he smiled at him. "You are right, home. Home is where the answers are. The hellfire, the ashes, the world is aflame with nuclear destruction. We must return, but I won't return as a King, Jeztri, I am going to return as a Jelbic man longing for his own steppes." Office of the Secretary-General, People's Council, Wiel, Jelbic People's Soviet Republic of Wrnuke As the Minister of Defence was explaining the current situation of the massive naval battle the red light on the desk phone started blinking. For a second it irritated Secretary-General Nutrem Rotrovresk, he had given explicit orders not to be disturbed during this briefing. Then he remembered the red light was only for the highest priority calls. A lump appeared in his throat as he appeared for the worst. "Apologies, Bulut, the phone." Minister P'ílkotr nodded. He picked it up. "Yes?" On the other end of the line he heard the new Director of the recently reformed RSB. "Secretary-General, my sincere apologies for disturbing you, but we have had a rather interesting call, an old extraction number from the royalist times was used. Those numbers are usually to get lost VIP's, lost agents, assets that need ASAP recovery.. well.. the code used was 0001, which may mean nothing to you but it is reserved for the monarch of the Kingdom of Wrnuke." He was speechless for a second. "Wrntukai wants to return home?" The Director responded hesitantly. "We are still verifying if it is him or if someone got the phone number and his code out of him.. but the agent taking the call said it sounded just like the old King, yes." What a strange turn of events. "If it is him.. bring him home, Director. But keep it highly classified, we will only announce this if we know what is going on here." After that he hung up, with the Minister of Defence staring at him in disbelief. "The King?" Bulut asked, all he could do in response was nod meekly. Perhaps he could be reformed. RE: A Battle Unseen - Mbites - 13-01-2025 February 5600 Jorgen Island, Freiheit, Lackmann Residence "Your majesty?" A concerned Sebastian adressed Theodora. After various prior attempts to get her attention she finally turned off the TV and sighed. "I think it is time to go." Her eyes were distorted but not the distortion one was already accostumed to. There was no rage, no blinding obsession, no thirst for blood or power. It was.. a spiritual surrender. Theodora slipped from the armchair she was in on the floor. Her little Adlé was scared, he never saw his mother like hat. "There is no chance to come back. My loyalists are going to lose this fight... Wrntukai is gone and they hate me, I know it, they're already planning to remove this crown from my head and put it back onto that god-damned island I recovered it from. My damn kinsmen were right. I failed. The restoration of Thallerism ends." As Theodora continued her rambling while getting comforted by her aide Sebastian and her four year old son, a Guard of the Chancellor took a quick look at the family-tragedy unfolding. He shrugged and got back behind the door of the living room continuing to enforce her.. "medically" mandated house-arrest. When suddenly one of those sleek cut-throat Bannerhafen corporate district types stood in front of him. "Hello there my dear guardsman. How about you look away for a second?" He waved some money around. One second passed and that familiar screaming started again. "Well thats how I know my Theodora" thought the guard. "I WILL END YOU, HEAR ME- ADLÉ YOU HAVE TO TAKE REVENGE; THEY CANT TAKE YOU FROM ME, NO! NO! NO! NO! NO!" RE: A Battle Unseen - Dredd - 13-01-2025 Quote:Excerpts from Experiment Report X-32-2 ... - WhatMakesMeAGoodDemoman - 15-01-2025 ABOARD QUEENSHIP Admiral Antoine of the 3rd Imperial Fleet had never been so terrified in his life. Utterly disgusted but unable to pull his eyes off the screen, he watched as his leader was Executed for "Crimes against Blackreef". He had watched it 5 times over, unable to grip the fact that his beloved nation was under such a horrible rule. They had barely made it on the ships of the 3rd Imperial Fleet, or, as lovingly called by the citizens on the coast, the Glorious 3rd, before being ambushed and fired upon by the Inhumane Eternalists, losing more than half of their men but still keeping just enough alive to get the boats out of the harbor and on a course for Kanjor-Governed waters. He turned off the Television and looked at the detonator switch. This Beautiful little button was connected to thousands of explosives laid at coastal bunkers and anti-air & boat emplacements. this one button would guarantee a safe passage into Kanjor and deny the satisfaction of the extermination of the Glorious 3rd. Antoine Grabbed the Detonator and pressed the button. ... ABOARD CORVETTE "coquelicot" Pierre was Enraged. He had watched his father Executed by these Savage and Inhuman beasts. He wasn't going to let them win any more ground. He aimed the Battery at a group of Eternalists gathering on the coast and fired 3 Shells. He smiled at the musical sounds of their screams. ... IN CAPITOL BUILDING Julianna was downright-fucking-furious. The ONLY Navy she had just hightailed it to Fuckin Kanjor and evaded the coastal defenses by sending them directly to hell. An Aldurian aide enters the room to hand her something to eat. Blinded by rage, she Relentlessly stabs the man in the throat with a pen, staining the carpet with blood and painting the walls with liquid the color of rubies. as she him stabs for the final time, she begins to get an idea. Aldurians are Expendable. She, however, isn't. She licks the blood from her fingers and makes a call to the State Police, and asks them to punish them for the actions taken by the 3rd Imperial Fleet. If she couldn't have a prebuilt fleet, She'd have them make her one. RE: A Battle Unseen - Elena1012 - 17-01-2025 A Plot in the Dark Matsurano, Utari Mosir January 23rd, 5601 ----------------------------- Kirishima Kuniyoshi was gaining influence in the nation. He and his clique in the National Revolution Party were making gains in the Provisional National Assembly. Associates, companions and friends. Both in the Mosriak Democratic Party, the rest of the PNR, and the Pan-Gaoic National People's Party. The Communists couldn't be trusted. Neither could the open liberals in the MDP. They would bring the nation to more ruin, or sell it out to Hulstria and the West on an open platter. Higa Shinji, the face of the PNR was an interesting person. Kuniyoshi knew that he was too popular, and he was the only reason Utari Mosir was not going to be under the Hulstrians. He was essentially the face of a Utari led nation. But there was a problem. He cooperated with the communists and the liberals. This was unacceptable. Kuniyoshi couldn't let the liberals or the communists subvert the National Revolution. Even if he had the support of the entire Assembly, he wouldn't be able to overthrow Shinji without being deposed immediately. But a plan was being made. Only those in his closest circle we're aware. Shinji was a visionary. He had a dream of a free Utari Mosir. But that dream would require sacrifices. And if the communists just do happened to kill him, who would bat an eye at purging the liberals, communists and moderates? The Party would have no choice but to support him, and with allies in the Pan-Gaoic National People's Party, he could lead the National Revolution and usher in a new Utari Mosir, free of western influence and Hulstrian influence. It would be necessary. It would be painful for the nation, especially after the civil war. But it would be necessary. Remove Shinji from the equation and blame the opposition. The liberals and communists would be purged and blamed for the murder of Shinji. Kuniyoshi knew that this would not be an easy burden. But it was necessary. The liberals would lead to exploitation and destruction. The nation was not ready for democracy. The communists would turn Utari Mosir into a puppet for the international communist movement. A firm guiding hand was needed. A strong Utari Mosir. The Utari Home Army was loyal to him. The Party was becoming more loyal to him and the PGNPP was supportive of him. Shinji was just the only problem. If the plot succeeds and Shinji is assassinated, the communists and liberals can be blamed. And the population will adore Kuniyoshi. The National Revolution will come through. It didn't matter if Shinji had to be removed, and if others had to be purged. The nation didn't know what it needed. Kuniyoshi however, he knew what Utari Mosir needed. A guiding hand. A strong hand. A firm hand. No matter the cost. |
