After two weeks of negotiating with the parties represented in the Senate, the newly elected Himmelshtern-hailing President Karl-Heinz Sztermann announced that the VVP is going to form a cabinet with the right-wing UTP-FTL led by Warner von Thaller. The distribution of cabinet positions went according to strength in the Senate meaning that the VVP holds all major positions only ceding minor competences like the cultural affairs ministry to the UTP-FTL. The coalition of former Stadhouder Sztermann is equipped with a stable 54% majority and is expected to push for a rather traditional Triad conservative agenda.
According to the Presidential Chancellory, the VVP has additionally found to an agreement with the Social Democrats to hold an inter-party conference on a potential constitutional reform to put modern safeguards in place, those safeguards should serve to avoid crisis like the one caused by former President Schuhbeck. It has been more then ten years since the dreaded Schuhbeck crisis and the subsequent victory of Sztermann (VVP) who has led a conservative-thallerist government for one term before being ousted by his party colleague Heinz Heiss, a centrist who has made overtures to the general public by running of a platform of “no change at all.” Political experts have explained the success of the campaign by showing off how Heiss has connected to the fears of the Triad citizens, which mostly revolve around security. Since the birth of the predecessor of the Triad, the Dual Republic, one of the most emotional issues for the people of the nation was the geopolitical situation and the surrounding ease and security of business; when the Dual Republic had become what it once was, during the fall of the Dorvish hegemony over the Artanian continent, the people were happy to throw in with the great-coalition of VVP and Social Democrats working with any that have offered their hand leading to a generally positive outlook. Domestic
During the VVP-GRP great coalition under Heinz Heiss, the Senate on the initiative of the government have made minor concessions to liberalizing the general drug policy – aside that of Jorgen Island which has autonomy in such cases – and have made several compromise solutions on welfare agendas, mostly using ordoliberal policies. For example, the state is now mandating private insurers to offer a basic package outlined by law to ease the healthcare costs of poorer families. In addition to that, they’ve protected Sztermann constitutional reforms from attacks of the National Union (Far-Right nationalist) and other new political movements. These reforms include the redrawing of electoral Senate districts that have weakened the proportional representation election system to ensure that the two traditionally large parties maintain an upper-hand, which was one of the most controversial topics of the last ten years. Other than that some rollbacks have been made regarding transparency which has been very critically received by the new Liberal Republican Party (a party consisting mostly of former DRP members not associated with Schuhbeck/Kadiyot). Other than that, only public finance comes to mind: Heiss’ conservative-socialdemocratic coalition has actually stuck to an unexpected fiscal-conservatism freeing a lot budgetary resources blocked by Schuhbeck-era mercenary contracts.

Foreign Policy
One of the most lacking aspects of the Heiss coalition was foreign affairs. The Directorate has seen major budget cuts as the Triad has retreated to some sort of defeatist isolationism, being content with its moderately successful post-3rd Point Federation security architecture for the pass. While the Triad has maintained most of its friendships across the Artanian continent, relations with all other continents have deteriorated due to general inactivity, closing several Directorate outposts or off-site council buildings. Especially the Majatran influence of the Triad has basically been reduced to nothing in the last few years, only Istalia is seen as a trusted partner in the eyes of the Triad public. Meanwhile what remains of the Third-Republic, Himmelshtern, has been reduced to the city and its outskirts which has developed into a fortress with excessive defensive structures and stationed personnel guarding the last Majatran territory of the Triad. Some argued that the stance toward the new Amudim state and the Jelbosphere reeks of paranoia while others don’t know what else to do.

Military
The Military of the Triad is still after those ten years dominanted by its immensely strong navy counting more than 150 ships and more in construction. Comparatively the Military had seen the least budgetary restraints in the great coalition, only cutting what was unnecessary when the mercenaries were no longer needed and occupational garrisons were no longer maintained. Heiss confirmed that he remains committed to maintaining the security of Bannerhafen by force if necessary even if the trump-card of Triad projection had always been soft-power and cooperative-think.
What does the future bring?

The conservative bigshot would be a unique president as the first holder of the office with Nsanian-migrant background and no formal education; Berger is a selfmade multi-millionaire by speculating and investing on the various financial markets the Triad has access to. He is running on reinvigoration and security by money which basically is the usual VVP recipe for victory. We expect Berger to be designated officially momentarily. On the Left side we have Theodora Hellne, the GRP leader comes with decades of experience on all levels of the executive ultimately serving as Vice-President under Heiss, she’s expected to gather the few remaining enthusiasts of the past “reactionary” government and hardcore leftists as the GRP remains the only party running on left-wing policy platforms. Priorly we’ve already managed the Liberal Republican Party filling the whole left by the Democratic-Republican Party, other minor parties challenging the elections are the two thallerist parties by the rival twins Werner and Warner von Thaller as well as the another new party on the right the “Monarchist Tradition Party” which is running on the single-issue of turning the Triad into a non-Thaller monarchy and also advocating for the persecution of the family.

As predicted by both Hiatus Magazine as well as experts from Bannerhafen Nachrichten and independent market researches; designated presidential candidate from the conservative VVP Heinrich ‘Bigman’ Berger has managed to earn the confidence of a majority of the Triad in a run-off race against his GRP opponent and former vice-president Theodora Hellne.

Regarding the presidential race, Berger ran on a classic VVP campaign, money for investment, enabling international business opportunities and extreme liberalism in domestic policy: Scrap anything that is to scrap from GRP involvement in the last administration and get the Triad back on the money-track. The message of this campaign is fittingly summarized by the slogan of Berger “Yeah Baby.” Berger performed especially well in the original two republics, loosing some ground to other candidates in Himmelshtern which after the loss of Territory is now overrepresented in the Senatorial race. Third Party candidates have not seen success in the first round, as it was clear from the beginning that either orange or yellow are going to dominate the very personality based race. Voter flow analysis shows that Hellne's base has been diminished by her steadfast support of the former Presidents so-called "Heiss Doctrine" of incrementally progressing by combining VVP and GRP thought.
A factor that has weighed heavily in favor of Bigman Berger was a clear corporate support both in the form of money and activism.

The results of the Senate election are less clear as the new MTP has managed to reach the threshold to enter the chambers and the smaller parties have maintained a mediocre performance across the board. While the VVP leads with a stable 31% relative majority, it will need more than one party if it intends to govern without the GRP which considering Berger’s announcements seems likely. VVP officials have openly promoted the idea of forming a broad right-wing coalition with both Thallerists parties or maintaining the alliance with the UTP-FTL and adding the Liberal Republican Party as a third partner. Allying both the UTP-FTL and the UTP-FLT seems increasingly unlikely as Warner and Werner von Thaller have publicly deepened their rivalry by using smear-campaigns on each other which has obviously led to smaller parties like the National Union, Monarchist Tradition Party profiting from their quarrel. The Liberal Republicans have performed within expected interval with small overperformance among women and Yeudi's due to their stance on a reinvigorated abortion debate starting during TV confrontations between Bigman and Hellne.

Berger Cabinet signs humanitarian aid agreement with New Verham Central Government

After April's elections saw the Bigman-led VVP victorious, Berger quickly formed a coalition with the corporate-elements of the Liberal Republican Party and the UTP-FTL. The broad right-wing coalition also enjoys a supply of confidence from the UTP-FLT Senate faction which has agreed, to the dismay of its leader W. von Thaller, to support the cabinet-coalition in security and foreign policy aspects. While the budget still has to be passed to completely reactivate the dormant resources of the Directorate of Foreign Affairs, Berger has made contact with historical partners on the Dovanian continent. The first to amicably respond was the war-torn country of New Verham.
A small delegations of the Directorate, the Presidential Office as well as some business representatives have made their way to Baatrynsentii to meet with New-Verhamese officials to iron out pre-agreed conditions for financial aid. Henry Boernike, Junior Officer in the Dovani-branch of the Directorate stated that its of utmost importance to the Berger government to help out partners and friends all over the world and as such they've made contact with New Verham. While the negotiations prior to the physical meeting have not been easy due to the statist influence in the government in New Verham, they've reached a compromise solution. While the literal-details are not known, the main points of the agreement involve something that has been referred to as a "basic aid package" sent out of solidarity with their old partners, it includes 2 billion Triad Credits for reconstruction and another 2 billion as a 0% loan. While these could be referred to as gifts, the inclusion of the "extended package" in the agreement paints the negotiations in a classical Triad-business light. An additional 8 billion triad credits will be invested in form of share and asset deals mostly coming out of the pockets of interested funds usually in the form of private-public parntnerships, a quite traditional tool in the set of the Triad Directorate.
The Directorate wants to signal to other potential partners that the Triad has opened its doors again after the quite disappointing Heiss-era loss of foreign policy significance.

Recent campaigns run by the Benowitz Foundation from Tel'Bira and the Terran Men's Rights Organization (TMRO) in Mannsburg, Darnussia have shifted attention to Human Rights abuses in Nadiya-occupied Trigunia. For years experts have pointed out that the regime in Nadiya is authoritarian and uses propaganda to mask its evil and inhumane agenda, but there has not been any political nor economic will to publicise these findings, thankfully, now after the efforts of the TMRO the University of Merenbürg has issued grants to fund research into this issue, this led to the report (5703 Merenbürg Report on Nadiyanist Anti-Male Sexism) we're going to cite in this article.
While its already known that the Nadiyan regime is generally opposed to adhering to the rules-based world order and traditional international norms, there is little knowledge in the public conscious about how Nadiya has systematically introduced a system of male persecution and discrimination. According to the report, it is speculated that a factor for this lack of knowledge is due to governments all over the world willingly recognising the illegitimate regime trying to eradicate the millenia-old history of an entire culture and nation. Reasons for this ignorance are usually economically or geopolitically motivated, especially the latter for self-proclaimed moral-crusaders such as Egelion which after the formation of the "tripartite Empire" is now part of the proliferation of the various crimes against humanity the Nadis (short for Nadiyanist) are committing.
The topic at hand: Anti-male sexism is displayed at its worst, at first during the formative years of Nadiyanism, the ideologues of the movement have introduced the thought of a new church that is praying to something called "the mother" which is laying the basis of shifting attention toward the supremacy of the female-gender. Subsequently the radicalization of Nadiyanism has led to the further stylization of men as a gender of second-class humans culminating in what experts now call the Nadiyanist "Genderlogy" (Dundorfian: Geschlechterlehre) in which types of males are assigned societal value by category, these categories are defined by common traits these alledgedly existing groups present. An example for these are the so-called "twinks" which appear more feminine and as such are assigned a higher value in Nadiyanist society, the least valued are the so-called "brothers" who're considered undesirables and do not even enjoy a role as a second-class citizen in the crypto-fascist society of Nadiyanism. Even though Nadiya allows for "higher valued" men, these humans do not hold any considerable political or socio-economic rights and are not on equal footing with women which are overwhelmingly profiting from the construction of the Nadiyanist Matriarchy. Men are no longer allowed to vote or hold higher positions in public administration.
Some asked how the Nadis have introduced this system without public outcry, Professor Johanna Le Körk, leader of the team that made the report, explained that Nadiyanists have used an incredibly efficient system of proganda, immediately after seizing power they've assumed direct control over all media using the modern tools of central states to control their population. The "news" in Nadi-Trigunia is usually pre-censored and/or directly written by the Central government or its branch offices in the pseudo-federal-member republics. For the eyes of the international observer these articles prima-facie seem quite common but between the lines and sometimes even openly so they claim fantastical things such as men voting their rights away willingly, such an unbelievably ridiculous claim exposes the propagandistic-nature of these "news." Aside of more deceiving forms of psychological operations, the Nadis have also used incredible violence against its population, systematically disappearing unwanted activists, using moral-police to repress men and women sympathetic to the gender equality cause, while it was not possible to visit the Trigunian hinterlands to see the all-male prisons for themselves, the researches have found believable indications of such "Mencamps." These findings paint a dark picture of the realities of the people living under the Nadiyanist regime, the abhorrent nature of the Nadis must be known and the governments of the world must do something against these crimes.

The governing right-wing coalition around President Heinrich Berger (VVP) managed to show political success in its first few month of governing the Triad Republic. While the New Verham deal is expected to have a Return On Investment a lot later down the line, domestic issues are currently being tackled in high-frequency Senate Sessions, abolishing Sztermann restrictions on military spending and removing bureaucratic hurdles introduced during the Heiss years are the main agenda points being handled. Still, despite these facts, many are still yearning for a more networked and embedded Triad. Now some movement has been visible in this regard as recent rumors about a intercontinental conference organized by Vanuku have sparked public interest in the future of Artanian-Majatran relations especially those of the historically close partners of the Triad and the Kingdom of Wrnuke. Ever since the founding of the new Amudim Homeland State, the relations between Bannerhafen and Wiel have remained cold and strained due to hostilites between Mercenary forces hired by the Triad and Jelbic funded rebels on Amudim territory. Surprisingly, quite quickly after the rumors spread, President Berger has confirmed that the Triad is going to participate in talks with Wrnuke and other potential partners.
These news have led some to believe that the so-called "majatran-exhaustion" of the Triad is over. One could consider this true but the view on its own existence as a supracontinental nation is not without controversy and as such has inspired political debates over the future of the Triad itself. Many activists from both Himmelshtern and the Dual-Republic of Narikaton & Darnussia have started talks about completely embracing neo-sovereigntist thought culminating in the popularization of the idea that a referendum over the national union of Darnussia, Himmelshtern and Narikaton should be held. Various conservative politicians have voiced their sympathy for such an endeavour and some outliers have even publicly stated that it is time for the Dual Republic and an independent Himmelshtern Nisrad to succeed the Triad as it has reached its Zenith. While the highest officials of government including the President have yet to comment on these political developments, one thing is clear: The future may not include the Triad Republic.

Both recent domestic headlines as well as international ones have raised piqued public interest in the maneuvering of the Berger cabinet which has yet to prove itself in sensitive political challenges. Two large issues have propped up since which show the potential of challenging President Bigman Berger in exactly this way, both show the opportunity of influencing the future of the Three Republics in fundamental way.
Himmelshterns Future
Since our last report on this issue, there have been considerable developments on the political level in regards to the question of Himmelshtern and the continued existence of the Triad Republic. President Berger now has surprisingly -and publicly – sided with the VVP’s advocates for holding a referendum on its future. Many political rivals have also supported this move, both Thallerist parties and the LRP have agreed to this course of action; the other non governing parties have either declined to take either side of the debate or have instead expressed more direct approaches. The far-right National Union has opted to frontally call for the seccession of Narikaton and Darnussia from the Triad as the Dual-Republic hence choosing to grant tacit support to Berger’s Referendum plan. While writing the script for this article, the Presidential Office has even gone as far as confirm the August 5704 as the official date for referendum. All this acceleration of political process in this regard has caused the City of Himmelshtern to be a battle-ground for various activists, NGO’s and other political entities to try to gain support to either stay or leave the Triad. One thing is for sure, the future of these Three Republics is now quite literally to be decided on the ballot in August.
Tripartite Space Agency
A recently presented plan by Lohn-Ginsl, the Minister of Science and Technology of Vanuku, has proposed to establish a three-sided join Space Agency by the Triad, Amudim and the Kingdom itself. While negotiations are still ongoing, delegations to Dundorf from the Directorate for Foreign Affairs are currently seeking approval from the Bundesregierung to use know-how acquired in the join Triad-Dundorfian satellite efforts which have been diligently working for decades. Minister of Defence – and related kin of the former President – Johanna Beidel (VVP), has agreed with the analysis of the Vanukese Ministry of Defence regarding the security-concerns around increased rocketry-efforts on a global level. “Our partners in the Triad Industry are ready, Passschiffe has ensured their support in this space-odysee.” said Corporate-Relations Secretary in the Ministry of Economic Affairs Herbert Berhert (UTP-FTL). Even Berger himself has taken to responding to press-questions. After the recent confirmation of an independence referendum for Himmelshtern by President Berger, the conservative leader of the Triad has followed through with his promise and held an independence referendum in Himmelshtern while parallely opinion polling (in a similar modus to a referendum) Darnussia and Narikaton on the electorate’s preference regarding the future. Despite various political factions trying to pull in either direction, the demographic majority of centrist to right-libertarian of the Three Republics have voted in surprisingly clear results.
Both Narikaton and Darnussia poll’s have shown a clear preference (Darnussia 66% and Narikaton 57%) to secede from the Triad too and refound the Dual Republic. While the Dual Republic exists in an odd limbo-way as an administrative layer including Narikaton and Darnussia its executive powers have been consumed by the two republics in the federalization reform led by Kooi-Oppensteiner and Ossel (Both VVP). Be that as it may, the legal predecessors of the Triad, the members of the Dual Republic have made it clear that it is within their interest to dissolve the Triad be that due to a strong stance in sovereigntist thought or simple Yeudi-exhaustion.
Himmelshtern itself – in an ironic twist of fate – is the Republic with the least decisive result, only a slim majority of 52% of the population has opted to vote in favor of independence after excessive activism from the local VVP offshoot YVP (Yeudi People’s Party).
