SODOC Inter-Governmental Council - Wu Han - 01-05-2025
The SODOC Inter-Governmental Council is the permanent standing advisory and coordinating body of the Southern Dovani Community (SODOC). According to Article 8 of the SODOC Charter, the Inter-Governmental Council is comprised of SODOC Ambassadors from each Member State, and tasked with:
- Discussing issues of regional and national concern for Member States;
- Preparing and discuss policy proposals to be decided by the Summit;
- Advising the Secretary-General on major matters, including any negotiations undertaken on behalf of SODOC with external parties; and
- Creating Ministerial Councils to address policy issues of common concern.
