The Royal Directory of the Armed Forces, led by the Royal Councilor Felipe Montalivet, has released a statement that all of the Egelian Armed Forces, including the nation's ATENEA missile system, are all active and prepared for immediate service. The move to prepare the armed forces for combat comes after the constant instability from New Endralon and the recent attack on a Nadiyan ship. The Royal Directory has stated that the Home Armada, consisting of the A.R.E Invencible and the 30 ship fleet, have been sent to the southern shores of New Endralon. This move was made in conjunction with the Kalistani 1st Fleet, who has also activated and have ensured to work with Altea in any scenario. 

The Second Armada, which is stationed at the North Point Naval Base in Brakav, has begun to patrol the northern shores of New Endralon along the White Ocean. The second armada is led by the deadly Amateria-Class frigates and the Yadraz-Class destoyers. The similar fleet of 30 ships is patrolling the region and using Norterra's military installation as a service point. The ATENEA system, a hybrid system from the SOTERIA program, is on high alert. All ICBMS and hypersonic cruise missiles that are part of the program are on stand by--ready to launch when given the order. For the first time since the defense of Meriath, the Royal Marines are also now active and ready to deployment. Led by state of the art infantry vehicles, transport units, and Dorvish-engineered tanks, the Royal Marines have the high task of securing Egelion's border and ensuring ground safety.

The IDE have sent final warnings and ultimatum to Porteşti to ensure a diplomatic route is open. Despite the preparations for a potential conflict, Royal councilor Montalivet II has stated that Altea is keeping the lines open for a potential diplomatic route. If  Porteşti continues down the path of destabilizing Keris and region, Altea will respond fast and aggressively to quell any and all threats. King Artemio, having visited Eroncourt this past week for personal reasons, confirmed with Castillo Garibaldi that all forces must be prepared for eventual war--if that is the way Kizenia goes. "We do not want a war, we do not need a war. But if the deranged animals in Porteşti decide to have their fates controled by Altea, then we shall not hesitate to do what is necessary.", stated Royal Councilor Montalivet.

At approximately 8:30 PM, King Artemio officially declared war on New Endralon and Kizenia after a massacre in the city of Nepolesti left several Egelian citizens dead. The Directory of the Armed Forces at Cartablanca, as soon as the order was made, launched over 35 ICBMs aimed at key military targets and infrastructure in south and eastern New Endralon. The 35 ICBMS were launched from Egelion's installations in the Amaterian mountain range as well as from the submarine fleet currently in southern Nadiya per eyewitness reports. Several missiles lit up the sky towards New Endralon as the ATENEA offensive system went online for the first time since the war in Meriath.

At approximately 9 pm, after the ICBMs hit their target, the ATENEA missile defense program alerted The Directory of 10 missiles headed towards Altea from small pockets of troops on the western border. The ATENEA system lit up the night sky over Altea and successfully intercepted the 10 missiles shot at the city. Residents of the city were alerted to stay indoors and seek possible shelter as missiles came over form New Endralon. At around 10 pm, a communication was sent to Kaliburg from Cartablanca that notified the imperial government of Egelion's entrance into the war. Per the last information release by the directory, Cartablanca has requested for Kalistan to assist an amphibious invasion of New Endralon's southern, coastal cities to prevent any maritime conflict. 

The Home Armada and the Northern Armada have begun preparations for attacking New Endralon's coasts. Missiles from the Amateria-Class Frigates and yadraz-Class destroyers have already begun to hit radar and television stations. Troops from the 4th, 5th, 6th, and 8th armored regiments of the Royal Marines have lined up along the border of New Endralon and are awaiting orders for an official invasion once the Royal Air Force and the ATENEA system have neutralized immediate targets.Royal councilor Montalivet II and Mondragon II made a statement from Cartablanca and Altea respectively shortly after the declaration of war. Royal Councilor Montalivet II, leading the armed forces in war, stated that: "The threat assessment in Kizenia and New Endralon is low for us. We believe that our aerial assets and our superiority on all fronts will make this a quick war. however, we expect resistance to be strong especially in urban areas. We expect to be swift, adaptable, and brutal in reaching our objectives." Royal Councilor Mondragon stated: "The murder of our citizens in Nepolseti was the last straw. We attempted to open diplomatic avenues on our end, but we were met with death and despair. Altea will now respond quickly with military action to ensure the threat in New Endralon is eliminated and we are able to restore stability in Keris. We expect our efforts to be swift and extremely successful. His Majesty wishes all of God's grace upon our royal troops and to all of our citizens at home. We shall uphold our national motto to the end of time: By reason or by the sword."

With the war in New Endralon and Kizenia still underway under a massive success, the Institute of Egelian Diplomacy has issued multiple statements regarding the quickly deteriorating geopolitical state of the world. Starting with the Amudim-Xsampa conference, Royal Councilor Mondragon II still believes that the effects of the meeting are still being felt around the world.

"I think this was our starting point. The direction Xsampa and Amudim have led our world is negative for all. Our mouth are still sour from Xsampa's change in policy and Amudim's predatory presence. This has led us to seek other opportunities and freindships in Majatra such as our newfound pact with Vanuku. We believe that once we have access to Majatra's markets via Vanuku and form stronger partnerships with Istalia and Zardugal in the process, we will be able to provide a sense of stability, whereas members of the 3PF have not been able to.

Royal Councilor Mondragon II spoke to the press at the front of the IDE Palace in Altea, which has seen its fair share of activity as Mondragon has called for the ambassadors of Valruzia, Istalia, Kalistan, Wrnuke, and Deltaria to ensure that Egelion remains in the good graces of all nations currently involved in petty international spats. Vanukean officials were previously in Altea to meet with Mondragon to speak of the details of the Two Lion Pact, a new partnership set to bring new opportunities for peace and cooperation among continents.

We think that our partnership with Vanuku is an example of real cooperation that the world needs. What Amudim has done is show that partnerships and peace can only be formed through modern colonialism. That is not the cooperation that Altea believes in for the future of our international community. We are only interested in mature, equally beneficial opportunities that are not wrapped in personal gain and the diminishment of groups of people.

Mondragon stated that Altea is concerned over the very quick decline of internationalism and hopes to step up in a more unified manner. The IDE is beginning to plan several state meeting to create a quick sense of order. While the IDE is focused on quick fixes to the community, Mondragon acknowledges that internationalism is suffering a huge blow, leading to constant tensions. With King Artemio beginning a slow decline, many have begun to call for new leadership to lead Egelion. Many believe that a new future is in sight. One where Egelion seeks to improve partnerships on a global scale, not hinder them.

We are prepared to create a new future. Altea will attempt to lead us all out of chaos and towards stability and cooperation in the near future.

The war in New Endralon and Kizenia is continuing on and Egelian forces are finding large successes in the open field and in urban warfare. The Royal Marines' ground operations have been supported by several strike from the ATENEA missile system as well as incisive strikes by the Royal Air Force. The complete dominance in the air has allowed the Egelian armed forces to move on through the Kizenian valleys with relative ease. Castillo Garibaldi has claimed that additional cruise missile strikes from the Northern Aramda have helped special forces go on high-importance missions in urban areas.

Royal Councilor Montalivet II has stated that the Golden Caps, Egelion's special forces unit, have engaged in intense mountain warfare in the Amaterian Mountain range along the border of Egelion and New Endralon. The Golden Caps have worked to defend Egelian lands from invasion itself and have sent units to begin siege operations in Portesti. Castillo Garibaldi has stated that more units are amassing at the border to begin a final push to the capital. More than 30,000 Egelian troops are involved in the war and at least 4,000 are being reported as casualties. While urban and partisan warfare in the country is difficult, Royal Marines have been able to push onward with ease. It i expected that that a meeting with Nadiyan forces is expected in a couple of months as fighting has mostly been left to Egelian forces.

We understand we have several international obligation to ensure this war ends. But we cannot have disorder every new year that we reach. We are ensured to bring a final, democratic peace to New Endralon and bring about a new enlightened absolutist change that will improve the country from its current authoritarian regime. Altea will see stability restored soon.

The Egelian Royal Armed Forces have finally reached the capital of New Endralon and Kizenia after month of fighting and close-combat. Previously, Nadiyan sources confirmed that their troops had quickly managed to get across the countryside with ease. Nadiyan officials prioritized a quick war, while Cartablanca adopted a more incisive campaign, hoping to achieve stability over annexation.

The final ICBMS from the ATENEA system were launched at Portesti this afternoon as the Egelian Royal Marines marched in. Several fighter jets and air support covered the march into the city as opposition was intense. Urban fighting reached its peak inside the capital where Royal Marines have taken multiple casualties. There are however more casualties on the Kizenian side as constant artillery attacks and aerial bombardments have flattened key enemy areas. 

The Golden Caps, Egelion's special forces, have spent the entire war period hunting for underground resistance and smaller militias in New Endralon to ensure that the post-war period remains peaceful and stable. Cartablanca stated that "the golden caps were sent to hidden locations and dangerous missions to ensure that underground locations and resistance fighters were eliminated to ensure that our transition to peace is stable. We want to ensure to we are actually using resources to end all possible catalysts for conflict." Castillo Garibaldi told the press that the Egelian strategy for the war was to ensure the elimination of all possible counters to peace in the country. While the Nadiyan forces focused more on taking over the countryside with haste, Cartablanca stated that approach would lead to more resistance down the road. Egelion would instead focus on eliminated small hotspots and major underground movements before peace would begin. The war is now expected to end within a few hours.

A total delegation from Altéa was in Kasaema this week to restore Egelion's relations with Kundrati. It's been decades since the fall of the fascist regime and the end of the alt-right government. King Artemio, in his attempt to further expand Egelion's presence in Artania, tasked Royal Councilor Mondragon II and Royal Councilor Cascabel to engage in several negotiations with the restored Kundrati government. Mondragon and Cascabel's missions were to expend Egelion's trade and banking network and take past on Kundrati's renewed exports. The meeting began officially at Kasaema's airport where the royal councilors met with President Claudius Hadriana.

The meeting was then taken to central Kasaema to begin long negotiations and an elegant dinner, restoring trust and cooperation between both countries. Among the deals discussed was the development of some of Kundrati's most underdeveloped neighborhoods. Egelion would give direct loans and grants to Kundrati to begin performing significant changes in low-income neighborhoods. Banco Cascabel-Otienda and Santamer have already lined up to begin significant investments into what seems a promising economy. Cascabel-Otienda's Artanian headquarters in Dundorf had already begun to transfer significant resources to the country through different methods such as small business grants and access to credit for Kundrati nationals. 

Egelion's benefits of the meeting resulted in small stakes of Kundrati's gold mining industry. Throughout the past years, Egelion's active search for trading partners in gold and marble have led to positive results. The Royal Treasury has reported a "plentiful amount" of gold reserves, which will only increase with the new deal with Kundrati. Royal Councilor Mondragon II was also talked with ensuring Kasaema's participation in the upcoming Concordia Summit in Altéa. He stated that "Kasaema's presence on the international stage is needed. We are committed to expanding internationalist norms and partnerships. Kundrati and their influence in Artania is necessary for us to continue expanding our norms...and our shared... ideals."

As the Kerisian War has come to an end, The Royal Council in Altea has now called upon Nadiya, Kalistan, and representatives from New Endralon to decide the future of the nation. Since fighting died down, Egelian forces have remained in the nation to ensure that all violence and conflict remains over. Royal Councilor Montalivet released a statement from Cartablanca stating that Egelian forces have currently taken over about a third of the nation to the east, waiting for orders to continue following the peace deal.

According to Royal Councilor Mondragon II, Egelion is prepared to decide the fate of NEK, similarly to Meriath to avoid the nation from going down the path of evil once again. Egelion is prepared to restore New Endralon and Kizenia's lands in exchange for a change of government. According to the IDE, Egelion is prepared to leave the country in exchange for the re-establishment of the monarchy. House Montalivet-Sildavia (Zyldavia formally) will inherit the throne, meaning King Artemio would become sovereign and Egelion would enter a personal union with New Endralon.

Among other terms, Egelion would annex the imperial crownlands of Zyldavia, which through history records show, has been contested between Egelion and Kizenia. The southern coast of New Endralon would be defensively guaranteed by Egelion and remain free cities. A free city status for the two cities would mean a democratically elected form of government and self-governance. Egelion would allow international observers to ensure the two free cities would remain free. Egelion would actively promote the rest of New Endralon remain free but resistance may be met from Nadiya who is already holding elections of their own. "We prefer New Endralon remain a sovereign nation, but with the ideals of enlightened absolutism. We don't believe in future land grabs, but instead for NEK to choose its own future", finalized MondragonII

The Kerisian Summit will be held in the city of Norterra in Caille. House Mondragon has offered up their estate in Caille to host the summit.

As more and more insecurity and conflict arises in Majatra, several trade vessels in Egelion have been affected. Egelian trade normally going to Tel Bira, Sholemburg, Vanuku, and Pontesi have all needed to take alternative routes. Novantica, Egelion's largest shipping company, has stated that the company is beginning to look for different investors to begin creating hubs for itself and for other companies in Terra. Grupo Ortega another shipbuilder company has voiced similar concerns at the Royal Court when their quarterly report showed a net decrease of trade to Majatra and far Artania. With Egelian ports still full of international trade, the same cannot be said abroad. Several Egelian ships have had to reroute as Majatra continues down it's path of instability.

To further mitigate shipping issues, Villar y Zepeda have begun looking at different locations to serve as hubs for global commerce. Ports in Egelion such as Libertaria, Cartablanca, and Yadraz have all begun creating new facilities to house global companies. New storage areas, port facilities, and housing accommodations are being built at Egelian ports to accommodate a new surge of international trade and new patterns. Villar y Zepeda it's looking to also invest in international ports such as those in the Sovereign Sea and southern Majatra. Royal Councilor Ibarra, who overlooks all monetary issues in Egelion, stated that the kingdom was looking to diversify methods of trade and increase imports from other places. Egelion believes that all trade is essential and sea routes are just as important. If countries can assist with sea routes when others are impacted it would improve the fluidity of trade and global trade.
