I have passed an RP law prohibiting any non-socialist party in Istalia (http://classic.particracy.net/viewbill.p...lid=708024), caused by the recent events in Istalia (one, two, three). OOC, I don't seek to stop players from playing in Istalia, but I'm hoping that they adopt a socialist ideology (whatever it may be), as the RP I'm coordenating with several other nations requires a socialist government, particularly Istalia's feud with Pontesi and Kafuristan and its allies over their opposition to a socialist/communist government in Istalia. Similarly, since we are planning to RP a Socialist International with other nations such as Xsampa and Baltusia - which would likely get involved in the previous RP - it's important that no non-socialist party can stop either of these RPs from developing. 

If there's need for more justification, tell me so.

In its current form we are hesitant to approve your RP law as binding and we think it would benefit from clarity. Let me explain in some detail, banning non-socialist parties as a whole makes for a very narrow window in which players can still participate in Istalia. While your party and its line are even mentioned, it is officially a communist party. Opinions on this differ of course, but to some of us communism is separate from socialism and with that interpretation you would also outlaw yourself. Another point is that it also calls to ban every party that opposes the dictatorship of the proletariat, which we know is a term often used in far-left rhetoric but some interpretations could then even argue you wish for a one party state.

All in all we think your RP law would benefit from being rewritten in closer detail. Perhaps change the wording to something like only allowing "leftist anti-capitalist parties that are united in maintaining Istalia as a leftist nation". This means that you can also have participating players that are social democratic, democratic socialist, communist, all the other flavours of the red ideology.

The RP I intend to pursue is the creation of a regency state sort of like Miklós Horthy. It would be a Taliban-esque Neo Confucian state with very strict socially conservative and authoritarian bends centered around creating the perfect Confucian (Jienist) society with constant government inquiries and searches around the currently missing Liu Dynasty in hopes of one day restoring the Emperor.

I won't ask for control of the Liu Clan because I'm hoping that Liuche will eventually return to the game. I do not plan to install a new dynasty and will maintain a Regency system whose inner workings are sort of similar to the modern Communist Party.
