With the continuing international success of Egelion, a more privatized strategy is starting to take shape in Altea, For the past 15 years, several efforts in the public sector have helped Egelion get on its feet after centuries of inactivity. King Amadeo's old reforms set the foundation for King Romulo's extremely popular policies. Yet despite the popular policies that have catapulted Egelion's social welfare, the people elected a Conservative government in hopes that its locked potential could see economic growth. That expected growth begun in the Royal Council itself.

Royal Councilor Cascabel and Royal Councilor Ibarra, both CEOs of huge financial intuitions, have announced several new initiatives and investments aimed at solidifying international partners and spreading the use of the Egelian Crowns abroad. The first opportunity is found in Kalopia, where Cascabel-Otienda is pledging an initial economic investment of over 20 million Crowns for the diversification and expansion of Kalopia's green energy initiatives. Cascabel-Otienda's team of "Creative Consultants" will help the Kalopian government and private firms establish "efficient, productive, and sensical" solutions to the expansion of their green sector. Kalopia, officials have made it clear they plan to fully integrate their green sector into their nationwide society. RC Cascabel stated that his bank would provide the necessary capital to ensure they can make an organized and "clean" transition to the green sector. He also considered having energy  subsidiaries from Cascabel-Otienda operate in Kalopia. The team of consultant will communicate with the government in Helios next week to begin organizing funds, resources, and logistics teams.

On another project, Banco Ibarra, led by Royal Councilor Ibarra the de facto Treasury Minister, has confirmed the bank's own investments in South Dovani. Recognizing the official Republic of South Dovani amid regional conflicts, the bank "sensed" a positive opportunity in the country, stating that there are untapped possibilities that have not been seized. Banco Ibarra will set up a regional operations center in the Udon Kakhon financial district, hoping to spark international attention. Royal Councilor Ibarra acknowledged the risk in investments, but claimed that South Dovani was "such a hot, sexy area to drop crowns and get a vacation." The sale of different condoms and celebrity politicians made the deal all too attractive.

After several more years of work and development in Egelion's ports, the Royal Directory of the Armed Forces was happy to announce the completion of the Second Armada Fleet. The second armada, known as the Fleet of Yadraz (the location of its construction), consists of 5 Amateria-Class Frigates, 5 Yadraz-Class Destroyers, 5 Formoselle-Class Frigates, 3 Kinea-Class Reconnaissance ships and 5 mixed-support vessels ranging from tankers, logistics vessels, and patrol ships. In total, the hundred billion dollar fleet, funded in part by the Royal Government and private institutions, has made its way onto the high seas.

The Royal Directory stated that the new Yadraz Armada will take over the Northern Armada's spot at Egelion's naval base in Braknov, Nadiya. Egelion's base called Punto Norte, or "North Point", will be able to house the ships and men of the Yadraz Armada and begin constant patrols within the northern White Ocean. The fleet has been instructed to ensure that global shipping routes are kept safe and protected considering the future expansion of Grupo Ortega's maritime trading fleet.

King Romulo was in the City of Yadraz this afternoon to send off the Armada under his good graces to their next top in Cartablanca. Thousands of family members, government officials, and members of the press were at the event to celebrate a huge moment for the Egelian armed forces. While the high from a new armada is still around, several citizens in the city of Yadraz, Altea, Norterra, and Libertaria have begun to complain about the dent the construction of the new Armada has caused on the Royal Treasury. A new deficit of 12 billion dollars now exists according to recent estimates at the Royal Court. While King Romulo has passed several positive social welfare reforms, rebuilt Altea into a neoclassical haven, and has returned prestige to the armed forces, he has yet to answer on how to return Egelion's finances towards a more positive route.

An average day in Altea has turned into an exciting one. The Security and IT Department at Cascabel-Otienda Bank found several money laundering schemes and scam rings at much smaller local banks who use Cascabel-Otienda's financial service software. The banks, mainly found in rural areas and quiet suburbs, were found laundering money to shady businesses including chocolatiers, bakers, pipe cleaners, and jewelers. 

Cascabel-Otienda sent an alert to Royal Councilor Cascabel, who is in charge of the Royal Treasury via the Royal Council, and told him that further economic restrictions and regulations are needed. The Royal Treasury who controls policy regarding Egelian Crowns, explained that further regulation to the Crown system would put several roadblocks for other financial institutions to access and crown and cause a decrease in use.

But that is not the majority opinion, some say that adding more protections to the Crown System at the treasury will cause more confidence in the crowns and hopefully improve the standing of Egelion's institutions. More regulations will improve the efficiency of the system and avoid laundering schemes that undermine the institutions. Cascabel-Otienda is no stranger to international cooperation. Regulations may be more helpful.

Pablo Velazquez, one of the men who discovered the laundering scheme at a chocolatier shop, stated: "Mannn, Ay do not no whi dese peoples want to esteal maney. It is ridikulos. It makes os luke like we are lusing maney. Don get me wrang, I love shocolate, but to use et as a skeme? Facking ridiculos."

Reports also are coming in that Cascabel-Otienda is working with private contracts to discover who is leading laundering schemes and negative sources of income in Egelion. Several gem traders and illegal black market activities specifically coming from Dovani are being investigated alongside the laundering schemes, but the IEI (Egelion's intelligence agency) is currently unable to find connections so far. Rumors circulate gem traders are seen in Altea on the royal grounds, but they are simply rumors. The palace potentially engaging in illegl trade would be "facking ridiculos", using Velazquez most popular words.

Pinho and Minister of Trade and Infrastructure Marquinhos Braga to present a plan to completely transform two of Tukarali's busiest port cities: Lomba and 
Cortes. A few weeks ago, the Tukarese government reached out to the government in Altea over potential help with the expansion of their ports. fully
recognizing the need to infiltrate diverse Seleyan markets, Royal Councilor Mondragon and Royal Councilor Cascabel held several over-the-phone meetings
with Prime Minister Pires and his vision for a redeveloped marine sector. 

After two weeks of work, one of the Royal Court's specialized councils worked with private institutions to create the Lomba-Cortes Connection. This plan 
focuses heavily on repairing Tukarali's broken down blue economy and ports. It also emphasizes the importance of expanding manufacturing, residential
and tourist locations. The plan involves a financial budget of 25 billion Crowns over the course of 10 years. The plan to expand the ports and access to 
rail takes a huge precedent. The plan, while ambitious but affordable, represents the best of Egelian ingenuity and cooperative with nations in need of 
assistance. The Royal Councilors stated that this plan was discussed with Prime Minister Pires, who concluded that he would "get back" to the Royal
Government within a week. 

Members of the Egelian private sector such as Novantica and Cascabel-Otienda have begun to look at potential resources and ;logistical plans for the 
Lomba-Cortes Connection. The project, if approved, would guarantee companies--not just Egelion's firm--from all over the world the opportunity to
invest in the Seleyan nation. Once work begins, it will begin a huge employment opportunity for the metro area surrounding these cities. King Romulo
approved the idea and the plan before it was sent to Sangon. He claimed it was a "marvel of Egelian planning and cooperation" citing that it now is
part of a larger foreign policy ideology that is beginning to change in Altea. A policy that focused on neutrality to one that emphasizes global 
cooperation and structure.

With the ongoing war in Artania now taking shape, King Romulo held a meeting with the Royal Council to discuss a potential fallout with the involved nations. It was concluded that while a second Kundrati war may finally liberate the people of the nation, it will come at a great cost. King Romulo has kept a "no-tolerance" attitude with Kundrati, only seeking to help the reasonable Etxeans with construction efforts. However, with the out break of war once again, the King has made public several comments about the situation and of Egelion's global role. 

The King made several statements regarding Kalistan's reintroduction into the war. What was once a mastermind move by the young Empress now seems like a contradiction few can understand. Royal Councilor Mondragon was perplexed at the decision to reintroduce Kalistan's influence in the war despite the effort it went through to avoid the war in the future. Royal Councilor Mondragon stated on behalf of the King: "While we understand the will of the Kalistani Empress and her reasons for her decision, I am afraid Kalistani policy is currently guided by youth and inexperience. It will improve over time."

King Romulo held a small statement on national TV regarding the war and Egelion's role in the world from his study at the Montalivet Estate.

"While we have several new and growing partners in the west such as Xsampa, South Dovani, Yerrawa, and Bianjie, we cannot understate the importance of our older friends such as Canrille, Amudim, Trigunia, and Istalia. Our efforts in Tukarali and South Dovani are a representation of the future of Egelion: facilitators. Builders, creators, and leaders. 

It is evident that the war in Kundrati shows that we cannot trust diplomacy from traditional powers any longer. Our focus must be on propping our regions, helping each other, and building--not destroying."

The King made evident that the older powers that have existed in the past 50 years have caused nothing but further destabilize the world order. The future of global change and stability rests in states that are focused on building, cooperation, and creating new ideas. King Romulo stated that Egelion would continue to seek opportunities and spread the recent prosperity Egelion has been able to achieve. He states that "we must start looking ahead and leave the world of war and destruction behind us." Royal Councilor Mondragon, who may retire in the next few years, has begun to communicate with those nations who the King believes represents the new future of Terra.

In a private, but most important meeting at Villamor Palace, King Romulo and Representatives of the Xsampan government, signed a monumental treaty to bring together Altea and Metz-Leonid. The treaty known as the Altea-Metz-Leonid Pact, is a formal agreement between Egelion and Xsampa that focuses on bringing the country closer together regarding ideology, diplomacy, and culture. 

The agreement, known as the Lion-Yak Pact informally, brings a newfound relationship between Keris and Dovani. At the ratification ceremony, Royal Councilor Mondragon stated that this was an example of the direction Egelion will go regarding foreign policy. Royal Councilor Mondragon states that current global leadership is unfit to take the up a new mantle of progress and global cooperation. With the Kundrati war tanking global markets and creating faults in leadership, Altea recognizes that future stability and progress rests in Dovani. 

The pact, according to released documents, focuses on Egelion and Xsampa sharing and collaborating on several fronts, mainly through diplomacy, culture, and ideology. While both countries have two distinct forms of government, the shared ideals that both nations have in terms of leadership cannot be discounted. Altea will soon begin to spread the Egelian language and culture to parts of Dovani, including Xsampa, in an effort to make Egelion's presence known. 

This new foreign policy is approved by King Romulo, who believes that older powers must accept a new reality that cannot be unchanged: a new order is settling in and one can trace the beginning of the end to the incessant intervention taking place in Artania.
