In re: The Joint Front Proposal

There is a lot of merit in this proposal and in general, The Empire of Ananto and Kalistan will support it. There are a couple of points Her Highness, Princess Regent Nicolette Ananto-Collins, speaking on behalf of Her Imperial Majesty, the Empress in Waiting Carolina-Katherine Michelle Ananto-Connor has raised by way of objection, which if dealt with satisfactorily, would clear any road blocks to Kalistani support.

1. Article 3 Bullet 2: "Multinational naval operations to prevent the arrival of weapons and strategic materials to Selucia."

Who, though? If its alright, I would rather not encourage certain global actors to participate in that. Some nations, as we have seen in recent history, like to turn humanitarian intervention into annexation.

2. Article 5, Bullet 1: "The international front promote the formation of a Selucian Counter-Autocratic Council to be recognized as the legitimate interlocutor for Selucia."

Kalistan is very conservative. It is difficult, politically speaking, for us to support an external institution of a government using international consensus as the source of legitimacy. Kalistan cannot support this language, even if the intention may be in good faith.

The remaining language of the proposal is easy for Kalistan to support. Thank you for your consideration of these points.
