After decades of rather ambiguous relations, the Luthorian Foreign Secretary Davy Harper made his way to Altea to discuss a brand new trade deal and to reaffirm positive relations between Luthori and Egelion. The Luthorian Foreign Secretary spent his entire three day trip in Altea, meeting with the IDE and members of the Royal Council. On the first day, Foreign Secretary Harper met with Royal Councilor Andrea Mondragon at the IDE palace. She greeted the foreign secretary at the top of the stairs before entering the palace. They engaged in hours long negotiations and tours of the palace grounds.

Among negotiations, Royal Councilor Mondragon was very pleased to speak with Harper. Palace officials described their meeting "overall positve" as the foreign secretary paid homage to Mondragon's connections to the Luthorian royal family. The Royal Councilor signed the official new treaty between Egelion and Luthori, on behalf of His Majesty. Royal Councilor Cascabel was also there to sign the treaty as significant economic deals were agreed upon by both officials.

Luthori would provide Egelion a heavy and stable stream of electronic hardware such as semiconductors and electronics. Automobiles and agriculture from Luthori were also promised as a part of the deal. Egelion will provide steady investments into Luthroi's several sectors including finance, tourism, and global shipping. Cascabel stated that Egelion would likely use grants and loans that are part of the Egelian Investment Fund (EIF) to fund Luthorian investments. Cascabel did say that the fund has remained untouched and would likely be very successful in Luthori.
