Retcon request: Name change of the House of Verrel-Luthori to Orange-Hutori.
TL;DR: In Luthorian history in 3716 the House of Orange-Villayn were replaced as the Emperors of Luthori by the son of the Hutorian King of the cadet branch of the Orange-Villayns, the Orange-Hutori's. This Emperor took the name Verrel-Luthori. I have not been able to find why this name was chosen. It also makes no sense. I would like to retcon it to the House of Orange-Hutori.
Long version to explain it better:
As you know I'm heavily involved in the wiki for the dynasty articles of the Orange-Villayns and making its history more clear. I have come across an issue I would like to rectify: Reginald I, Emperor of Luthori (House of Orange-Villayn) reigned up until 3716, when he died. His son didnt take the throne as the Luthorian parliament invited the son of the Hutorian King, who was an Orange-Villayn of the cadet branch Orange-Hutori and a decendent of his great aunt to take over the throne. Emperor Henry V thus became the first emperor of the House of Verrel-Luthori. From what I gather this name came about without much rp or an explaination. During this time the Orange-Villayns didnt take different names, like the Steuart-Adelia's and Steuart-Geharon's would do later on. It makes more sense to call them Orange-Villayn-Verrel or Orange-Hutori as to keep the name of Orange in the house name as they are Orange-Villayns and the Orange-Villayns ruled Luthori for 1.215 years up until this point. It also makes it clear the Hutorian branch briefly took over. (Side note, these are NOT the current Steaurt-Carmichael's, they did not exist back then). Both the Verrel-Luthori's and Orange-Hutori's died out later as can be seen in my family tree of the Orange-Villayns.
So in summary: I think the name of Verrel-Luthori is stupid, doesnt allign with the dynastic naming system and renaming them to Orange-Villayn-Verrel or Orange-Hutori (like their parent house in Hutori) would fit better. Even Orange-Luthori would be better. I request your blessing for me to pick one of these names. Thank you.
