Kundrati economy set to see minor growth in 5704 after period of stagnation

Kasaema - After a long period of time from foreign investment and gold mine development, the Kundrati economy, according to some in the Ministry of the Interior expected to see minor growth from continued infrastructure works and new industrial zone development in the city of Riecny Brod in the state of Peghonai.

The industrial zone development in Riecny Brod is expected to begin construction shortly, with a focus on port expansion and the development of shipbuilding capacity in the north. Ship development in the Lievenian Sea has been dormant for some time, with not many countries developing ships for the near-arctic conditions of the sea. The shipyards are expected to focus on icebreakers and ships that can withstand arctic weather, and it is the expectation of the city of Riecny Brod that these ships would be able to provide some economic boost to the area via ice-clearing programs and possibly a fair bit of fishing in the middle of the Lievenian.

Agricultural expansion continues, especially in the center to south of Pilgon and the north of Jildrath, as farmers are looking to grain and vegetables instead of other foodstuffs like rice. The farm yields from last year have not worked out as expected, with farmers seeing a 3% deficit on their yield due to an additional amount of storms and a general lack of proper agricultural conditions for most of the state of Jildrath and Pilgon. The hope is that this year's crop yields will be more appropriate for the area.
