Royal Councilor Mondragon and High Councilor Formoselle formally signed the Altea Accords and the AISA intelligence agreement this morning at the Palace of Concordia, forging the beginning of a new order based on communication and cooperation. The creation of the accords came after the successful ending of the Anantonese security meeting held at the same palace. Nadiya, Kalistan, Lodamun, Valruzia and a silent Xsampa were at the conference as well, hoping to help forge the next variation of internationalism in Terra. On behalf of the Emperor, both Royal Councilors signed the treaty, bringing in Egelion to the multi-power, multi-polar agreement. Many political analysts had several thoughts about the decision.

In Altea, pundits and commentators have discussed the momentous occasion and have hailed the accords as the "diplomatic and cooperative world order.". The Altea Accords have been presented as a treaty that select nations could technically ratify and align with a "free, open, cooperative, and communicative community." The Altea Accords are a stark contrast to the recently devised Majatra-Artania Treaty, which according to its own texts, can be interpreted as a hyper-militaristic alliance focused on extreme intervention and direct assaults on sovereign nations based on their ideology. While Egelion is no stranger to direct interventions on liberating fascist countries, one cannot ignore the previous attempts at coddling right wing government from current MATO nations, which seems contradictory to the current alliances goals. The alliance's purpose of spreading propaganda tied to Yeudi sources must be considered when joining such an organization.

Many come to consider old Dorvik's era of militaristic intervention of centuries-past and can relate it to the current Majatran-Artanian association. It is perhaps too early to say whether Amudim and its related states will remain tied to such a militaristic, imperialist organization itself, yet it is regrettable to see - according to some press agencies - the Luthorian people tie themselves once again to a rather concerning organization for the mere solution of ameliorating it's centuries old struggle of relevancy and competency. The Altea Accords focus on mutual respect, cooperation, communication, and real diplomatic solutions to worldwide problems. Peace through diplomacy, not forced strength. The Altea Accords are a direct heir to the bygone era of internationalism that relied on the World congress and mutual relationships. 

"It is clear that this world is turning to those who would work together to solve problems versus those who seek to impose their militaristic will. We've seen how incessant military spending and mutual security alliances end. We are glad we are not on that side", stated Formoselle.
