Section VII: Judicial Organs of the Revolutionary People's Republic
Judicial Organs are one of the 4 types of Organs that compose the Revolutionary People's Government. The primary purpose of the Judicial Organs is to carry out Revolutionary justice in the name of the People and to ensure just and equal society, and swift retribution and punishment of counter-Revolutionary forces. The Judicial Organs are: the Revolutionary People's Supreme Court, the Province Revolutionary People's Courts, and the Prefecture Revolutionary People's Courts.
The Revolutionary People's Supreme Court
The Revolutionary People's Supreme Court the highest judicial body in matters that fall within the jurisdiction of the Judicial Organs. It is composed of 15 Supreme Justices, appointed by the President, from among candidates recommended by the Revolutionary People's Party General Congress and approved by majority of the Revolutionary People's Assembly. The President is always the Chief Supreme Justice.
Local Revolutionary People's Courts
Local Revolutionary People's Courts are the Province Revolutionary People's Courts and the Prefecture Revolutionary People's Courts. They have jurisdiction over the judicial matters within their subdivision and they are appointed by the Revolutionary People's Councils of their subdivision.
