Bianjie - President Hali Abdalla came back from one of the most anticipated state visits of the last few years. The president visited the Dovanian nation of Bianjie on behalf of the Ramadhani government in what was the first state visit since the creation of the Federation.

Nsanlosa has been relatively isolated by its recent intervention in Istapali and sobsequent (political) instability. This isolation has hampered its ability to recover, with little friends to call to. Bianjie is seen as a beacon of democracy and stability in the wider region, largely credited for adapting while staying true to its core democratic principles. Prime Minister Ramadhani long wished for a visit to the nation but had been focussed on domestic issues for his entire first term.

When reelected, his office contacted that of President Abdalla, ironing out the details of a state visit by Abdalla while Ramadhani would be allowed to remain in Nsanlosa. That state visit occured over the last few days as President Abdalla was welcomed in Gemun with open arms.

While the visit was marked by kind remarks in several press conferences and media interviews, it also made significant progress in mending relations between the two states. Representatives ironed out a deal in which Bianjie would provide advisors and expertise in developing democratic institutions within Nsanlosa. The deal aims at strengthening institutions and making them resilient, even in the face of domestic insecurity. One example of earlier talks between Nsanlosa and Bianjie was the creation of the Federal Electoral Commission, which oversaw the last election and resulted in higher voter participation and less intimidation/irregularities. Its creation is one of many proposals now discussed and explored with the help of Bianjie advisors.

Other topics discussed included improved economic and diplomatic relations, with a delegation of upcoming Nsanian businesses travelling with President Abdalla and establishing contacts with Bianjie counterparts in a effort to facilitate greater cooperation. Ongoing instability in the region and Nsanlosa itself was also discussed, with President Abdalla expressing Nsanlosa its intend in improving its ports and restarting its sea trade activities in order to improve trade corridors in the region.

During the last day of the visit, President Abdalla signed a agreement with the Bianjie Foreign Minister, pledging to open two new consulates in Bianjie and the central Dovanian nation in exchange reopening its Haradesa embassy, which was closed following the Istapalian intervention. President Abdalla returned to Haradesa with quite a handfull of achievements, praising Bianjie for "opening its arms to the Nsanian people" and hoping for "continued and fruitfull relations between our people going forward."
