Polling Catastrophe for The People's Party - Margrove Challenged

Polling has for months now indicated a drop in support for the People's Party. The National poll from December 5740 puts P at only 3.3%, the lowest result for the party ever since entering the Quaiyl. The party once founded by Jonah Margrove, has lost faith in its leader and party insiders are now for the first time ever, voicing their concerns to the media. One such person is former minister for trade & industry, Roman Cervantes. 

Roman Cervantes, the bailonan former mining consultant and current member of the Quaiyl has stated that he thinks it's time for Jonah Margrove to finally retire as leader of the People's Party. With only months until the party conference, Cervantes is hedging his bets that this time, the delegates will also want the change that he feels the party desperately needs. 

Jonah Margrove has been the leader of P for almsot 10 years. He has always had his critics, especially during times when polling was pointing in a negative direction. But over the decade, Margrove has promised that he has had the ability to always bring P back into relevance. 

We interviewed Cervantes who had this to say about the party and his ambitions. 



It's time that the People's Party revitalize itself. We are in opposition but still we can't seem to win over our base. I believe that our ideas have a place in Beluzian democracy but we need to remember why we fight for them. I am running for become party leader not because I want replace people or because our policy positions have been wrong. I believe that we need to restore credibility to our movement. We are the voice of  those who realize that politics needs a moral foundation, that our country can't be led solely from Cirrane and that the future success of our economy is not with the help of socialists or layellan language dominance.
