Digging deeper: Investigators from Beiteynu and Likatonia tour a Kundrati labour camp

The chronicle can reveal some breaking news today. For the first time in a long time the team of Beiteynu and Likatonian investigators have been given exclusive access to the infamous Kundrati labour camps, we can now reveal the hidden secrets and what is really going on behind closed doors.

Despite the claims of human rights infringements the investigators "saw no evidence to corroborate these claims", in fact they saw the exact opposite. They saw Kundrati workers being humanely treated, with lunch and drinks breaks throughout the day, we understand that all the workers are serving temporary criminal sentences reduced by labour volunteering. Despite years of conflict, community spirit is still strong in Kundrati, this is something Terra can learn from. The investigators where provided with a tour of the camp by the Kundrati hosts, the camp was clearly being maintained and had good, clean working conditions. There where suitable break rooms and canteens, the workers are provided with all the tools and equipment that they need. The investigators spoke to one volunteer who said he is feeling "patriotically renewed daily" ever since he moved into the camp, the supervisors are friendly and supportive. Despite this the harsh reality of war time cannot be denied, when the time comes Likatonia will be there to help them rebuild. The investigators concluded that there "is no evidence of inhumane treatment at the camps". We spoke to the head of the Likatonian delegation Alex Marsh who described these findings in more detail for our readers,

The independent investigation concluded there was no evidence of inhumane treatment, the volunteers where in fact very happy to be there. We where shown how the camp is regularly cleaned and maintained, we have first hand accounts from Kundratians who say they would prefer to stay at the camp, food clothing and hygiene products are distributed regularly to the camps residents. It's just an ordinary work site, nothing really to see here.
Q:Are the Kalistani claims false Mr Marsh, that they are mass prison camps?
A:I can only speak to what I have seen, we have seen that all of them are working voluntarily to reduce their sentence and they are actually very happy to be here. If Kalistan has additional evidence then they are welcome to hand it over to the investigators so we can reconsider our findings.
Q:Will you recommend an international arrest warrant for those who orchestrated this war?
A:We have not considered such an action, however all options are on the table.
I will just conclude today with this, the Kundrati people have gone through immense suffering, to ensure that it doesn't happen again we must learn from the past so that we do not repeat the same mistakes again. Those with a position in power also have a great responsibility. We will continue to review our findings alongside the Beiteynu investigators and if anything else changes we will let you guys know.
