Crisis and Conflict: Mr Trelawny is "dead wrong" says a joint statement by the government of Likatonia.

Kalistan is acting with impunity and putting regional security in Northern Seleya on the line for their own imperialistic ambitions. Likatonia was hit multiple times with unprovoked sanctions by the Anantonese empire. The hypocrisy of Mr Trelawney that he can stand there with a straight face condemning Likatonia whilst Kalistan is actively seeking to annex athosia. Athosia does not belong to Kalistan, it is in Baltusia Period. The government of Likatonia condemns in the strongest possible terms the annexation of Athosia and we will respond accordingly, we will be there for the Baltusian people when other nations were not. When Kalistan prepares to waltz through athosia, Where is Alduria? Silent. Where is Gaduridos? Silent. Where is Luthori? Silent. The hypocrisy is rife. To come out swinging at Likatonia and not expect a response is shameful. The comments of Lord Samuel Trelawny are dead wrong, Likatonia is an independent, sovereign nation Luthori does not speak for us, this is not about the commonwealth this is about the imperialistic ambitions of the anantonese empire. Gaduridos and Lodamun are Kalistani puppet states, we now have an expansionist empire on our eastern border they are becoming more and more emboldened by the silence of the international community who appear to be too scared to stand up to Kalistan.

"The recent actions of Kalistan in Athosia represent a grave threat to the stability of Northern Seleya and a blatant violation of international law. Progresiva unequivocally condemns this act of aggression and stands in solidarity with the people of Baltusia in their rightful defense of their sovereignty and territorial integrity. Imperialistic ambitions, no matter where they arise, have no place in the modern world.

At the same time, we must reject the hypocrisy and silence of the international community. The inaction of global powers like Luthori, Alduria, and Gaduridos has emboldened Kalistan, while unjust sanctions and criticism have been levied against Likatonia. This double standard undermines trust in global diplomacy and exposes a failure of leadership on the international stage.

However, Progresiva believes the solution does not lie in escalation but in dialogue. We call for an immediate diplomatic effort to resolve this crisis, involving all regional stakeholders, and for the creation of a framework that ensures lasting peace and stability in Northern Seleya.

This is not just about borders or power—it is about people. The people of Athosia, Baltusia, and Northern Seleya deserve to live in peace, free from the threat of aggression and conflict. Progresiva will continue to advocate for justice, sovereignty, and the protection of human rights, both at home and abroad.

Likatonia has a responsibility to stand firm, not only for itself but for a vision of the world where respect for international law and human dignity prevail. We call on all nations to rise above silence and partisanship and work together for a peaceful resolution to this crisis."
