Labour Stalwart Speaks Out on Left Kalistan

Long-serving member of Kalistan's labour movement, Ella Ferrero, has given her verdict on the new era in the nation's politics. At a speech to members of the Labour Caucus in the capital, she gave what many considered a 'stamp of approval; this is particularly significant because she is seen as a member of the Labour old guard. Along with others who initially launched the Kalistani Free People's Movement, it was presumed she would've been opposed to the merger- her blessing could be crucial to the survival of Left Kalistan in the long term. Miss Ferrero said;

The initial signs are overwhelmingly positive for the Left Kalistan project. It is probably public knowledge that I was skeptical of the idea but it seems I have been proven wrong on this occasion. Both caucuses, and indeed the new Liberal Caucus, have been permitted to retain their distinct identities and traditions and this can only be a good thing. Kalistan is now in a position where stable and functioning government can be guaranteed for the foreseeable future. No longer will we endure the constant swing from left to right.
