Taeyang Light Palace Restoration Approved

TAEDO METROPOLITAN AREA - Today the government of Taedo Metropolitan Area officially approved the application of the Nine-Tail Society, representing the House of Hwangje, for a construction permit and public funds for the partial restoration of the historic Taeyang Light Palace, representing the seat of Hwangje imperial power for centuries. 

The motion was approved above the required majority threshold, with 53/82 votes on the Citizen's Hall voting "yea" on the matter. Mayor Hyeob Deunghaesol (劦등해솔) shortly thereafter stamped the measure, approving it and giving the go-ahead for the release of funds and the speedy granting of a construction permit from relevant authorities to the appropriate developing parties.

 In a press release for the House of Hwangje, head Hwangje Hwanheechan (晃制 환히찬) declared:

We are very pleased with this outcome and deeply appreciate the support and cooperation of the Citizen's Hall and Mayor Hyeob. This historic journey to restore a fundamental emblem of the entire Metropolitan Area's pride is not only of deep spiritual and historical importance, but of practical needs for the welfare of the Taedo community. Leisure, public education, and appreciation of our natural beauty are all intrinsic to the development of a healthy and happy Taedo. The reconstructed Taeyang Light Palace will become a place for all Taedo residents to appreciate fine art, our storied history, beautiful landscapes, and nature. It will create jobs and also draw in thousands of tourists from Baeguk and beyond to our Metropolitan Area. We will fully commit ourselves wholeheartedly to the restoration of this sacred site for the immediate benefit of the people. Thank you.
