Luthori Denounces Lodamese and Beiteynuese Naval Presence in Artania; ILN placed on "increased readiness"

Fort William - Amids the recent announcement from Yishelem that the Kingdom was discussing with the Hobrazians for an “permanent” military presence in Artania. The Luthorian Government has recently released a statement on this matter. Surprisingly, this statement condemned both Lodamun and Beiteynu. The Foreign Secretary, Carolina Pryce gave us more details during this morning’s press conference.

“There is a reason why Her Majesty’s Government condemned Lodamun and Beiteynu. Lodamun, while still Luthori’s ally, put into jeopardy the security of Artania for hell we don’t know what reason, also putting into jeopardy the security of their ally here. By their actions, they’ve opened a gate which had been closed for a century, the gate of imperialism in the Artanian continent. And alas, yet again, this has been used by Yishelem to expand their tendrils in Artania. This is something that Her Majesty’s Government cannot idly stand by and watches as its own security in the region is put into jeopardy by opportunistic powers.”

While having some tough words for both Lodamun and Beiteynu’s reckless behavior, the Foreign Secretary announced that the Imperial Luthorian Navy had received orders to be “at an increased readiness”, in case something bad could happen. And when asked about the difference that this deployment may have with the upcoming Luthorian naval deployment in Mordusia.

“There’s a big difference. Luthori learnt from its mistakes made in Baltusia, 80 years ago. Luthori contacted every single powers involved in the area, thus being Alduria, Kanjor and Lourenne, as part of the Canrillaise Empire and the MSCO in Yishelem and Cachtica, at the very difference of Beiteynu and Lodamun, Luthori has been overly cautious in terms of its deployments, only deploying this small force because of the Mordusians needing assistance in their naval security, amidst their security budget’s cuts by the Government. And as stated, if Mordusia wants us out, we’ll be out.”

When asked about Luthori’s position on the matter, she stated that.

“Luthori’s position is simple, we are completely opposed to any military presence in Artania. Period. This requires the Lodamese and the Beiteynuese to do one simple thing. Withdraw from Artania.”
