Kundrati Foreign Minister Jaizkibel Garaycochea to perform a round of state visits, comments on the ongoing geopolitical situation.

Kundrati Foreign Minister Jaizkibel Garaycochea has announced that he will send his team to various countries to expand Kundrati's trade opportunities.

Garaycochea intends to visit Hobrazia alongside President Andrelopa Arruzabarrena to hash out a trade deal. The two countries (Hobrazia and Kundrati) have not had many opportunities to trade with each other, and Foreign Minister Garaycochea intends to ensure that Kundrati can trade with more Artanian nations. As of now, Kundrati primarily trades with Luthori and Dundorf, given its long-standing ties with these countries. It is hoped that Kundrati can also establish a long-standing trade relationship with Hobrazia.

Garaycochea would also like to visit Tukarali and Likatonia on a "Seleyan tour" to promote Kundrati businesses and reestablish trading relationships with these countries. Likatonia and Tukarali have been allies long ago with Kundrati, to the point where defense ties were established (and are still there in Likatonia's case); however, the ongoing relationship is hoped to blossom further. Plans to visit Valruzia, on the other hand, have been canceled due to statements coming out from Valruzia that indicate hostility towards Kundrati's business over lies relating to Kundrati's relationship with Kalistan.

Garaycochea also wishes to visit Gaduridos to promote the new trade relationship regarding oil transportation, as Gaduridos is a major exporter of oil and natural gas. However, details have not been confirmed regarding this part of the "tour."

Finally, Garaycochea will travel to Lourenne at some point to attend the funeral of the late monarch of the country. He, the President, and various other Cabinet members are expected to remain in Lourenne for the mourning period and possibly to promote cross-country trade between the two states.

When pressed for comment regarding the situation with Dorvik and the rest of Artania, the foreign minister said:

While Narikaton/Darnussia and Kundrati have many differences, we both agree that Dorvik at this current moment is harming the current geopolitical situation in Artania. We do not take kindly to Dorvish leaders thinking their peers are lesser than them, as per their latest statement. We will do our part to stabilize Artania. Dorvik only has to try to do the same.

When a journalist mentioned how Kundrati was not mentioned in the Dorvish statement, he chuckled and responded, "I guess we're doing something right if we aren't being mentioned."

The foreign minister was also asked about the idea of a northern Seleyan confederation, to which he said:

We are not Seleyan and we will defer to our friends and allies regarding that matter.
