HMDP candidate Putilova Terezilya elected head of the Council as the party doubles both their vote and seat shares, Nadiya begins shifting to the hard right: the Church's shadow emerges

Zarvospol, Kozakia. Today the results of the 5660 second confederal elections have finally been released by the CEFT and approved by the supreme court, to the shock of everyone, the Hosian Matriarchist candidate Putilova Terezilya has emerged victorious in the presidential election for the head of the Council, she managed to beat the incumbent Hyon Jung by securing 65% of the votes during the second round of voting in a historic upset. The Hosian Matriarchist Democratic Party has long been considered Nadiya's equivalent of the far right ever since its foundation by nuns of the Nadiyan Matriarch Church in 5590, they didn't manage to enter the NGA until 5620 where they won 10 seats but during the first confederal elections of 5653 they managed to secure 50 seats, yet for the second elections, the party launched a unique campaign across social media and even mobilized volunteers to help spread their agenda and support their candidate. Everyone in Nadiya excepted the presidential election to have a showdown between Hyon Jung and the candidate from the Pastels but with Putilova's victory, it shows that populist candidate can break through the electorates mind and help them achieve victory. Not only that, but the HMDP doubled their vote share and thus their seats in the NGA from 5% to 12,96% making them the fourth political block in the assembly and kicking out the TAN from the presidential council, same with the Chamber of Nations where the party secured 90 seats and in the chamber of Justice where they expanded their grip and secured 40% of the seats in the house. The HMDP now has 2 representatives in the presidential council and an undeniable dominance over the Chamber of Justice, this just shows that Nadiya has begun shifting to the right socially as a recent poll shows that most Nadiyans see the recent legislations support men's rights as scandalous and in opposition to the teachings of the MCN especially when coupled with the fact that the remaining progressive 3 justices in the supreme court are expected to hit their term limits by 5665 which in turn will secure the supreme court for the conservatives for the next decade.
