For our world has changed many times, but not as many times as one might think. Curious, how the youngsters of history are so eager to shape it, discarding the carvings of those before them, thinking theirs will stay unaltered. Such is the duality of man, kiddo.
Memory is spoken or written. The one we hear, we alter due to what we forget. The one we read, we change of what we don't want to remember. It is a feeble thing, memory. A momentary passing in the infinite span of time, one that is merely greater than our lifespan.
We keep memory to avoid. To protect. To warn. So what is memory other than a mistake? Pain. Danger.
So memory must be the result of our fight or flight mode. But this is where I lose the voice of Elyon, kiddo. Because everything about biochemistry is about power.
