On the campaign trail: the Kundrati People's Party presents it's manifesto

The Kundrati People's Party has lasted for a long time - even surviving the Vanguardists - however now they are one of only two major parties fighting in this election given the military's actions throughout the country from four years ago onwards. In fact they were the ruling party in the Kundrati Union in Etxea during it's entire existence and they are the son of the former Kundrati Democracy which was the major conservative party long ago.

Their manifesto, thus, somewhat reflected that history - and the history of being a marginalized party of the Vanguardist regime. The Kundrati People's Party has said that they will present three major themes if they were to win the Presidency and the National Assembly: reclamation, restoration, removal. Let's talk about these three themes in detail:

• Reclamation by the Kundrati People's Party, or KPP in short, means that the nation will work hard with the north and the south in order to reunify the two races, peoples, and areas into one larger whole. For the last almost 100 years the country was stoked in hatred with the Lurrians being attacked by the Delics and the Delics being encouraged to be higher than the Lurrians. In order to ensure that this would never happen again the Lurrians and Delics would be tasked to rebuild the country together through mass labor programs. Unlike the slavery of the Legion, these mass labor programs would be tasked with the rebuilding of infrastructure and repair of older or damaged buildings, they would be granted full pay and benefits, and they would be treated properly and not have any of their civil rights impeded. Discrimination or mistreatment in general will be strictly prohibited via strong laws against these acts with punishments from large fines to prison sentences.
  
• Restoration of the Kundrati nation through working with other countries in order to rebuild. Kundrati would, under the KPP, work with other nations to restore their image and their Armed Forces. However, the restoration of their Armed Forces would contain limits - they would only be activated either for humanitarian missions, to rescue Kundrati citizens and interests, and by request of their allies. Kundrati would also join international defense organizations and, via various laws, force the military and the civilian government to separate from each other and have the former be controlled by the latter. The military, when asked about this, were in agreement on this as well.
  
• Removal of Legionaries and Vanguardists from the civil service and from public life through mass purges, deportations, deprivations of citizenship or deprivation of their political rights. These purges would happen in a special court that would be organized by the state for Legionary or Vanguardist crimes only. Those convicted would be allowed to appeal though only to the Supreme Court. These deprivations could last from a few years, a decade, two decades or their entire lives. The standard of proof would fall on the prosecutor to secure a conviction as well. The state of Lirnak, being a controversial state that was filled with Vanguardists, would be placed under direct rule until the National Assembly determined that the state was safe enough to manage their own resources. The other states would have their own governments.
  

The manifesto has received support from the south who were very pleased with the removal portion in particular - especially with the memory of the Vanguardists and the Legionaries firing missiles into Etxea and turning the south into a horrible wasteland during the Second Kundrati War being recent memory. The north, though, was less than pleased though the restoration and reclamation part did help to cool their nerves as they focus on rebuilding and trying to move on from a ultimately horrendous regime. Betters and others have predicted that the Social Democratic Labor Party will gain a lot of votes in the north while the center and the south will likely go to the KPP as a result.
