Comrades! This is it. The Tricentennial. 300 years ago, Xsampa was formally united after decades of division between the Democratic Republic of Utembo (Xsampa) and the Serene Phodang of Utembo (Xsampa). 300 years ago, the triumph of socialism occured in all of Xsampa. We have endured many challenges since then. The Red Bass War, the Sovereign Sea Crisis of the 5570s, the Bargas Chenpo, the Sovereign Sea dispute of the 5660s. Despite this, we have endured. Xsampa faced cliffs long ago and today, we rest and look back, at the progress we've made and celebrate!
All across the country, parades and celebrations define the atmosphere. From the mountains of Tsélamé-sur-Yol to the beaches of Gramdkarpo, celebrations define Xsampa. In Metz-Leonid in particular, this is where the biggest celebrations occured. Not only were foreign leaders attending (as well as allowing foreigners to visit Xsampa during this celebration), but it was where a strong majority of celebration was held. Before we cover who visited us during this amazing day, let us focus on the celebrations. First, the Tricentennial Parade. Large portions of Metz-Leonid's Public Square, dubbed "Revolution Square" was closed off in preparations for the Tricentennial Parade, which lasted for hours. Consisting of 4 segments, the Parade started off with the Youth Leagues. Representing the beginning of the Revolution is with the youth, it involved any and all Youth Leagues in Xsampa. Afterwards, the heart of the Revolution, the workers. All sectors of the economy were invited to send representatives for the parade. Afterwards, the Xsampan Democratic Army, the sword of the Revolution. Presenting it's new strength to defend the Xsampan Revolution. Finally, the soul of the revolution, the last segment of the Tricentennial Parade involved Yaks. Our beloved yaks.
While there were concerns over if Metz-Leonid International Airport would have enough capacity, MLIA managed to narrowly make things work. Before we cover other celebrations, it's time to mention our foreign comrades who attended. In a surprise to many, Pontesi was such a nation that elected to visit Xsampa. While not comrades per say, relations have been gradually improved and the two representatives sent, Prime Minister of Pontesi, Vahan Azeryan and Minister of Foreign Affairs Satenik Davtyan conducted themselves amazingly and represented Pontesi adequately.
Luthori, has always had a unique relationship with Xsampa. Despite their flaws as a bourgeois monarchy, they have made strides towards peaceful coexisting, and they elected to attend the Tricentennial Anniversary. They sent the Prince of Orange, Prince William, and Grand Duke of Northriding, Prince Andrew alongside the Luthorian Ambassador. All three adequately represented Luthori and conducted themselves amazingly.
Kalistan. On the surface, you would expect strong hostilely. What time does a workers republic have for an absolute monarchy? On the surface, you would think that. But Kalistan is different. They refuse to engage in tyranny and guide the people. While we disagree, we most certainly respect Kalistan. When the Bargas Chenpo occured, they stepped up and helped us out first. When we needed to modernize the Xsampan Rail Network, they stepped up. When we began exporting gems, they stepped up. For that, we are very happy to say they are our comrades. As such, Kalistan sent Her Imperial Majesty, Empress Mary I Ananto. She was accompanied by Her Highness The Lady Companion Victoria Jensen, Her Highness Princess Margaret Ananto-DeLaurentis and Her Highness Princess Nicolette Ananto-Collins. Despite the differences both our nations have, they conducted themselves amazingly, and have continued to represent the Kalistani-Xsampan relationship.
Istalia. Despite being a bourgeois monarchy too, like Luthori, the Left has been particularly strong in guiding policy and Istalia has been committed to improving the global human condition. So, it was little surprise they chose to attend the festivities as well. Emperor Tommaso and Empress Melissa were present alongside the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Lucio Dallara and the associated consort and Istalian Ambasador in Xsampa, Luca Palmieri and consort.
Our comrades in Valruzia sent three members of their presidency, Kaja Romanowicz, Andrzej Gajdos, Maja Kocur, and while relations have been slow but warm with Valruzia, our Valruzian comrades have shown themselves that they are endlessly committed to the revolution and good governing.
Looking northwards, our comrades in Dranea. Chairwoman of the National People's Assembly of Dranea, Go Gowoonyesol represented Dranea. A fellow workers republic (albeit with a homophobic problem), our comrades in Dranea face a similar situation as us with an island still clinging to the old reactionary ways. In time, Dranea will join us in unity but until then, we support and love our comrades dearly.
Egelion, a mighty ally. Again, like Kalistan, you would think an absolute monarchy would be hostile and incompatible. But like Kalistan, Egelion is benevolent. If they were not, the proletariat would've long ago rose up. King Artemio, Queen Anastasia (also the Tsar and Tsarina of Nadiya) and The Royal Council of Egelion attended the festivities, and symbolized the endless friendship between Xsampa and Egelion, an unbreakable friendship.
Dundorf, long time comrades from the 5400s who have done their best to help us. While technically a bourgeois republic, they've undergone long periods of time under progressive governments that they're often called a progressive republic instead. They sent Federal Chancellor Lennard Schneider.
Finally, our comrades in Bianjie. They sent Premier Ajigen Kode, and Foreign Minister Taksi Gioro. An eternal friendship that will last a thousand years more. While they haven't experienced division like us, they are our comrades, and one we cherish deeply.
After the Tricentennial Parade, the Custodian gave a speech regarding the Tricentennial.
This is a momentous week for all Xsampans, all across the world. Whether it be the exiles (monarchists who never returned after the Division and then after Unification), Foreign Diaspora (whether from emigration or fleeing during the Bargas Chenpo), this is a celebration for all Xsampans. The Democratic Republic of Xsampa has lasted for 300 years today, a unified Xsampa will continue to last for another 300 more.

Quote:Comrades, friends, companions.
Today, marks not just 300 years of socialism. It does not just mark 300 years of all of Xsampa being liberated from capitalism. It marks the unity of a people. 300 years of a people united as one. To our foreign comrades, we never would've gotten far without cooperation with the world as equals. To the people of Xsampa, not just the proletariat but all of Xsampa, we never would've made any progress without the unity of the Xsampan people. We've been United for 300 years and will continue to remain united.
This is a momentous week for all Xsampans, all across the world.
