New open cut iron and gold mine opened by Benemu in eastern Wehealin 
State-owned mining corporation opens a long-awaited 30-square kilometre open cut mine in the eastern part of Wehealin Province

State-owned Benemu company has announced that the Sahamuke mine officially opened in a ceremony yesterday morning. Governor of Wehealin Province Ilušun Dare, the Minister of Mining and Natural Resources Tebuhe Nonr and the CEO of the Benemu Lan Zhuan, all attended the opening ceremony at the site of the new iron and gold mining operation, joined by the provincial leaders, mining trade union leaders and workers. Sahamuke mine, located 40 kilometres northwest of Fetembi, is expected to generate more than ₸6,2 billion over its lifetime, the company said.

"Wehealin is the heart and soul of our mining industry, and will continue to be that, as long as we support it. And that is why we gathered here today, to celebrate the beginning of yet another story, Wehealin's story of being the engine of our nation", said the minister Nonr. "Frankly, it is mines and sites like these, which create hundreds, if not thousands of new and stable family-supporting jobs for our citizens, and for the propserity of our country."

Construction began after the mine has been approved after the provincial government signed an economic and development agreement with the government-owned mining company. Benemu CEO Zhuan said that the construction took a total of the year and a half, and that at the time of Sakanume mine opening, 500 people have already been employed, with the employment forecast to grow up to 1000 people by the end of 5650, by the time of which it is expected to create 300 permanent jobs, Zhuan said.

Government launches publicly-funded national social care system in the major reform

In what Premier Soca called "a victory for the working families and dignity of labour", the State Council today has officially launched the National Care and Support Authority (NCSA), a sweeping new government program aimed at transforming how Bianjie operates social care and supports the most vulnerable: children, disabled and elderly. The agency, jointly developed by the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Health and Social Security and independent experts is the largest social reform in decades. 

NCSA is expected to recognise the right of all people to receive, and then guarantee the universal access to free and publicly-funded and provided childcare, elderly care and support services for the disabled people in Bianjie. Over the next 5-7 years, the government plans to expand the coverage of the program nationwide, prioritising rural and distant areas, low-income and working class households. "For decades, social care industry has been an invisible engine of our economy; it has been neglected and underpaid. This changes today", said Minister of Health and Social Security Laimbu Meiheri.  

For a while, the social care has been treated as a burden falling mostly on Bianjian women, with the care jobs historically being ignored and unsupported by the government. The study from the Social Science faculty of the University of Niyalma on the social care jobs in Bianjie, published in 5647 found that women spend three times as many hours on unpaid domestic and care labour as men. Later, that study became the focus of palriamentary election campaign, with SPP pledging to reform that, and NCSA will serve to do just that, minister Meiheri said. "Bianjian government is finally taking responsibility, at last. This is not only a gender policy, this is an act of redistribuitive justice and economic stimuli, to help our economy grow, and our people prosper". Under the new system, care services will be offered through a network of public institutions, worker cooperatives, and municipally-run centers. All care workers will receive union protections, pensions, and access to career advancement programs.

Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation pledges mass investment and reform of the rail transit in country

GEMUN: For years, if not decades now, various governments of Bianjie have been promising giving the railway infratructure a proper attention and investments, yet always fell short of either the funding, or term period, or other reasons to avoid touching the subject. But last evening that seem to have changed, as the infrastructure and transport minister Tainca Sumari has announced that her ministry will be investing up to 3 billion g'an into the state-owned Bianjie National Railways (BNR or Kokutetsu), and developing a major reform of the company and infrastructure in general, under a name "Rail 5675". According to Sumari, Rail 5675 will not include complete overhaul or breakup of the state-owned enterprise, but rather it will be a change of the way Kokutetsu operates, its structure and leadership, to include "young and fresh faces to lead the new and modern railway industry in Bianjie".

Minister Sumari, talking about the reform in detail during her press conference, said that the priority of the reform will be making BNR a "regionally-oriented network", connecting rural and distant mountainous towns or villages, with the major provincial lines, through the construction of new tunnels, mountain rail corridors, and climate-resilient viaducts to ensure year-round access in regions where snow or landslides often cut travel, as more than half of the Bianjian lives in non-urban parts of the country. At the same time, Sumari pointed that there will be a major focus on making the routes frequent and spread across the nation, with making sure the trains arrive at time. "We are looking at other examples worldwide, making our own notes, using studies and analyses, but we will make it happen at any cost, we are ready to begin and finish this reform", said Sumari.

In the 153-pages long document Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation released following the press conference, the ministry includes a detailed description of the Rail 5675 plan, with the new features, ideas, calculations and other notes to the future reform of the state-owned Bianjie National Railways company. Among those, is some major proposals that are aimed at increasing accesibility and comfort for the citizens, like the introduction of a regional travel cards, which are gonna make the tickets cost cheaper for their bearers, and the mobile app, that will allow Bianjians to comfortably book tickets and plan connection trips beforehand. Also, to increase punctuality, BNR will be introducing a cyclic pattern timetable to simplify trips and reduce waiting time, in particular for rural locals.

The first tenders for rolling stock and engineering design are expected to open later this year, with construction beginning in early 5651 in the southeastern provinces. These areas, often cut off in winter and underserved year-round, will serve as testing grounds for the system’s ambitions. While challenges remain — from financing logistics to land acquisition and weather delays — the Ministry insists it is prepared to meet them head-on. “We are no longer tinkering at the edges,” Sumari said. “This is rail reform not just for today, but for the Bianjie of the next decades ahead.”

Government accuses opposition leader of the money laundering during his time in government

In a surprising joint press conference of the Ministry of Justice and Civil Affairs and the State Council Secretariat, leaders of two government departments came out with the announcement about the internal investigation into documents from the previous administration, which serve as the evidence of the massive money laundering scheme exercised during the premiership of Tabai Wenggot, with some members of the State Council being either directly involved or helping. One of those members, according to the heads of two government departments, is the former government's Secretary-General and the current leader of the opposition, Batu Aora.

According to the current SCS chief, Shui Meng, back in 5646, Aora helped to push and lobby for the approval of illegal contracts of the real estate companies in Niyalma and Ambagašan in the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation. Aora's brother, Alin, owned at the time the Royal Diamond Group, which won several of those contracts through what government now alleges were "fraudulent bidding processes" manipulated with insider information and political pressure. "We have reasons to believe that the state funds amounting up to 102 million g'an have been laundered through accounts linked to the RDG", said justice minister and Vice Premier Sain Imutu. "Obviously, we are unable to present all the information of the investigation, but we can assure that all serious information has been delivered to the Anti-Corrution Bureau, and the criminal cases are opened".

No arrest warrants have been issued yet, but Vice Premier Imutu confirmed that leader of the opposition Aora will be summoned for quesioning by the end of this week. Meanwhile, Aora himself, speaking two hours after the press conference outside of BDA party office, has dismissed the accusations and called the investigation a "witch hunt" and a "blatant political stunt". Aora accused the government back of discreditation of the political opponents, and using the investigation to distract citizens from government's own failures. "This government is corrupt to the core and desperate to distract the public from its own failures—on inflation, on public safety, and on jobs," said Aora. "They want to silence the opposition, and now they are resorting to character assassination."

Bianjie foreign minister condemns arrest of Nsanian opposition presidential candidate 
Minister of Foreign Affairs Elden Argi says Bianjie follows the situation closely, asking Nsanian government to free opposition leader

Elden Argi, Bianjie's foreign minister, has condemned the arrest of the opposition presidential candidate Bwana Mbukwa, which sparked the massive political protests in Nsanlosa, following the annulement of the presidential election results, after the came first with the 39% of the vote in the first round of the election. More than half a million Nsanians came out to protest the decision by the current Kereenyaga government, with the latter barely giving it any response or attention.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bianjie came out with the statement calling for the Nsanian to release Mbukwa, and sit down for the negotiations with the opposition leaders and resolve the issue diplomatically, and allow for a "free and fair" electoral campaign to happen, adding that the government must "give Nsanian people the opportunity to voice their concerns with the current government, and to decide their future". MFA has also advised all Bianjian nationals to leave the country "as soon as possible", in order to decrease the chance of being affected by the possible political violence, would the current crisis escalate further.

"The ongoing situation in the fellow Dovanian state of Nsanlosa is rather disappointing, and raises the concerns of stability in the whole region. It is important to make sure that the situation does not escalate any more, that's why we ask the Nsanian government to do what's neccessary and sit down to talk with the protesting side, and do everything in their power to come to a diplomatic resolution that will satisfy the people, and stop the instability", said the foreign minister Argi.

First national car plant nears completion as the government approves creation of a state-owned automotive company

After about a total of 3 years of planning, negotiations and construction, Bianjie's first national car manufacturing factory is nearing its completion in the northern province of Beine, in Holomeng, near the major port city of Ambagašan. According to the detailed plan of the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Trade (MEIT), the site is currently entering the final phase, with the construction and installation of the main production and assembly lines beign close to finish, and the first test batch of domestically assembled cars expected to beging as early as the first quarter of 5653.

Earlier in the morning, during the press conference at the construction site, economy minister Delan Aisin (SPP) has called the construction "the most monumental and important milestone in Bianjian recent history", adding that the kickstart of the industry under a state-owned Hasuke company, quietly established through a government decree couple months prior, will be a major leap into the future, where Bianjie "is not just a consumer, but a major producer, a major player on the market, and above all, a driver of the pan-Dovani economy and industry".

According to the public records and tenders of the project, found in public domain on the MEIT website, it is reported that the government was aided and provided by a wide range of investments and workforce from various regional and international partners, including the newly-established DDF successor, Dovani Commons Compact, with several Xsampan-based firms providing consultations under the private contracts. Additionally, the Egelian Banco Cascabel-Otienda, which has recently moved its Dovani regional office to Gemun, has also provided several loans for the construction and kickstart.

Domestically, the newly-established Haseku has been busy creating jobs and hiring engineers and technical workers from across the nation, many through the vocational partnerships provided by the government. "It is highly critical to understand that Holomeng plant, and Haseku, for the most part, is and will be a factory and industry made by Bianjians, for Bianjians", said the Vice Minister of Industry Neye Dortara (SPP), adding that up to 67% of the workforce will be coming from the Beine locals and nearby northern provinces to boost the development and investments in the Bianjie's north.

Aid and coooperation for Nsanlosa announced during the visit to Haradesa

HARADESA: Foreign minister Elden Argi went on a two-day visit to the Nsansian capital city, Haradesa, where he met country's highest level officials, including the new Prime Minister Tuliza Adia, to talk about the future of the diplomatic relationship between the two countries, closer cooperation and providing aid for Nsanian citizens, as the nation is looking for any kind of support following the peaceful revolution which overthrew the authoritarian regime of GPC party.

After the meeting, Argi and Adia spoke before the press about the contents of the meeting. Argi promised full support from Bianjie and its business in economic recovery of Nsanlosa. He expressed hope that two countries could work together on developing Dovanian infrastructure, including high speed rail, in addition to also other projects that Bianjie has been developing currently domestically, but is looking forward to expanding it regionally, like car manufacturing, mining or the quality broadband connnection. 

"It is my personal belief that Nsanlosa, is a great nation of great people, that deserves to be a part of something bigger and better. I am sure that the the government of my Madam Adia will do just that, and we are happy and ready to provide them with everything required, and help Nsanlosa integrate in the common values of developing Dovanian unity", said Argi. Bianjie foreign minister said that there is a free trade agreement being worked on currently between countries, as well as the negotiations about the possible inclusion of Nsanlosa into the Dovani Union framework.

Socialist government re-elected with a bigger margin, preliminary results show

Three months of campaigning ended up in a result that surprised almost no one: the re-election of the socialist-led government. However, there was a surprising outcome to many. It is the way SPP was re-elected, and that is with a bigger majority than in 5648. A highly approved government with a crumbling opposition and a growing third way party resulted in a stronger and bigger majority for the SPP and its coalition.

Recent polls showed the problem the opposition was, leading up to this result: voters are unaware of the program or policies DPC and NCU are running on, with 31% of DPC voters in 5648 saying they wouldn't vote because DPC "talks about SPP too much". Arrest of the former leader of the opposition Batu Aora on the charges of corruption certainly didn't help the opposition either, considering fighting corruption was DPC's main campaign slogan five years ago.

With 130 out 229 seats controlled by the left-wing coalition, Premier Soca secures himself five more years to run the country, and continue to implement reforms and megaprojects, as 78% of Bianjie citizens say the country is moving in the right direction, according to the same poll, mentioned above. Soca thanked all the voters, saying that "the work continues", and that he will work as Premier "for as long as the people require". When asked about the government, Soca replied that there could be "minor realignments", but added that "most hardworking ministers will remain in place, continuing to work for Bianjie".

The diamond of the North, or how Niyalma became the fastest-growing city in Bianjie

NIYALMA: Despite its sizes and population, Bianjie is still obviously, a very diverse nation, culturally, economically, demographically and geographically. Sometimes, a lot of us forget that a life outside of Khani exists, and that is a problem since that life is beautiful, and deserves the nationwide attention. And not just because we have some pity towards the cities and people who live there, but also because those places and those places make the bigger change domestically and regionally.

Somewhere between the high northern mountains of Bianjie, where mist clings to pine forests and the air smells of cedar, lies the city of Niyalma, once considered simply as an outpost town, now is the fastest-growing settlement of Bianjie, recently becoming the second-largest city in the whole country. With the city's streets buzzing with old traditions, modern culture and big ambitions, Niyalma became a place where the change is simply palpable. 

About 80 years ago, Niyalma was known as a small town that went through a rough history of being founded as a military, used as the outpost for the running Khan Cuyen, who was fleeing the socialist military regime, building a palace, which became the tourist attraction later on, and then simply a city sitting on large deposites of rare minerals. Standing in the middle of province, far away from sea access and located between the mountains meant no bright future for the city, and yet something has changed when the provincial initiative created tax incentives in the city, opening it for businesses and tourism, creating cultural programs and routes. Obviously, there were other steps, but we can put it away for students to write their papers about. The point it, the city literally boomed, with its population doubling in less than 10 years, fueled by young families, skilled workers, and entrepreneurs, who received social housing, support and tax breaks to settle and create new generations of families in the city, instead of the overcrowded metropolises on the sourthern coast.

Though, even though many new locals love their new city, and the way the urban local government has been caring for them, some locals, who have been living in Niyalma for decades are not as happy, but rather complex. "I appreciate the work our government did throughout years, but we're slowly becoming something that has prompted all those families to come here: a loud, busy and very fast metropolis", says Yensar Tulgi, a 57-year-old local. "But, I must say, because of this 'boom', I have met wonderful new people, I have met my wife, who came here from Namušun, I have been enjoying my lüdagun every morning in a café that has opened and been working thanks to the government subsidies". And there are many more stories like these: grumpy, but welcoming.

Since the Soca government was sworn in back in 5648, there was a new wave of domestic migration to Niyalma, thanks to the now-national investment and programs to grow and develop northern Bianjie and its settlements through the education and infrastructure reforms. And nevertheless, the city government tries to find the golden middle between rapid growth and development and the preservation of local culture and tradition. Mayor Mei Jangmu (PCP), currently serving her second term, says that her city "is not supposed to be another metropolis", and rather it is a city that grows with intention – "rooted in the land, open to the world", she says.

Clearly, Niyalma is not perfect, no one is. But it clearly presents an alternative for those looking for something new, modern yet traditional. Cozy and comfortable, and yet big and loud. Accessible and affordable, yet expensive and complex. But it is worth at least visiting, at least paying attention. Especially, as the city awaits the forum of Bianjie's partner countries to meet in the city and sign the economic treaty, sources within government say, which will surely create even more attention and prompt another wave of migration into the city, but one can say with certainty – Niyalma is ready to take it.

Tens of thousands march in Gemun, demanding equal marriage rights for everyone

The largest gay rights march in Bianjie history was held in the capital city this Sunday, with it members demanding the Soca government to legalise the same-sex marriages in the nation, as the Progressive Communist Party urges socialists to back their proposal within the State Council and put it to the referendum, sources within the government say.

Previously, Bianjie's largest human rights organisations came out together to present a joint manifesto, signed up by more than 100 groups and associations, where it was announced that all signatories are creating March for Equality alliance, which will become a pressure group to advocate for the same-sex marriages in Bianjie and to demand government to act on it as soon as possible. And on Sunday, March for Equality held their first and currently the largest rally in history of Bianjie in Gemun, with more than 20,000 citizens attending and marching in favour of the marriage equality, waving rainbow flags and other rainbow accessory. 

The march comes as the parties within the governing coalition are currently debating the issue, with communists and New Dawn pressuring SPP to back PCP's resolution proposal to legalise the same-sex marriages through the binding public plebescite. During the 5653 electoral campaign, all thee government parties have one way or another mentioned the marriage equality topic in Bianjie, with PCP being the most vocal about supporting citizen initiative to introduce gay marriage across the nation, while SPP was more reluctant, but did not come out against it. Despite that, representatives of all three government parties, as well as members of the Horizon party have attended the march, pledging their support for the cause of the attendees.
