Helena Le'avit, Head of the Central Bank of Amudim
I can see colleagues from both sides of the aisle shifting nervously. Obviously assurances would be guaranteed. Guardrails. Enhanced overwatch. Thresholds. That sort of stuff.
But I think the most sensible thing to do is have Bianjie issue the new index currency, and the g'an can be one of its components. And have GEMEX handle it as the door to the rest of Terra, without, of course, barring other Dovanians from doing their own currency-related business with others, independently. All Dovanians and those doing business with Gemun, will have to accept trading with the index currency, which is, not exactly a currency, but an asset. A medium expressing value.
Like a stock market index? But instead of companies, you have currencies. The more valued a currency, the larger its impact. Up and down, however, which is quite the risk for those betting on it.

I appreciate the openness to Mr. Greedman's pitches; but it is well-known that the INF's agenda is to spread Yeudi middleman economics, through the diaspora, everywhere it can be spread. So, forgive me for being stern about it, but my position stands: I'd bet good money right now that Mr. Greedman wants to explore expanding the Bankaut to the whole of Dovani through a cooperation with Bianjie.
It is prudent to emphasize [looks at Greedman sternly] that our colleagues and counterparts from Bianjie have made the journey to Tel Bira on a mutual understanding of good faith.
Greedman looks almost sweaty - after all, Le'avit was his professor and he still carries her idiotic ethical standards class as a chip on his shoulder, 24 years later.
This high and mighty moral ground BS was always a thorn to his 237-million-worth capitalist heart.
Quote:Depends. Would you be willing to peg your national currency as an index to all Dovanian currencies? It depends on how much Gemun wants to double-down on a Dovanian collective.
