Defence Minister Schwaiger under fire

While most figures of the current administration enjoy high approval ratings and are mostly popular among the electorate, there is a black sheep among the ministers of president Clenonberg. Defence Minister Philipp Schwaiger (Landbund) has been tasked with finishing and adapting the plans laid forth by former governments for the future of the Dual Republican Armed Forces. While Schwaiger has managed to start and finish the upgrade, maintenance and refitting process for ships currently part of the fleet, he became a victim of budgetary constraints due to the expansion of the welfare state. Schwaiger usually says "I dont have enough money to continue with further points along the plan. New ships? With what money? My ministry can barely afford this sandwich. Thats just what happens, if you want militarists in power then vote for someone else. Moron."
