Financial Regulation fails to pass in Parliament

Investmentbankers, Hedgefund managers and financial wizards are sighing in relief as the controversial financial reform package has failed to pass through the halls of the Dual Republican parliament, the Nationalrat. In the end both the parliamentarians of the centrist Landbund as well as parts of the DRP have joined the conservative opposition to kill the bill. This comes after extensive VVP fillibustering by moving and talking in slowmotion.
