New DAL design to start off Airforce Program

Concluding the story of our last report, the two dominant parties of the Senate, the VVP and the OF have finally managed to finalize the general direction of the economy and have begun to funnel funds and offer contracts into the aircraft modernization program. Its almost like a collective sigh perceivable through the entire nation as the plans were lying around for years but having state-money go anywhere in Narikaton and Darnussia is a path of heavy-resistance with the VVP positioned at the levers of power. The first phase of this program starts with increased state interest and involvement in the development and procurement of Airforce equipment. Currently the Dual Monarchist Airforce only consists of very old aircraft which hasnt seen any considerable training action in recent years except for some very modern jets bought from Pontesi. The Dual Monarchy is pushing 12 billion DMRK via a longterm plan into the domestic aircraft producer Darnussia Aeronautics Limited to produce its in-house flagship that is the DAL-AMAINE1 as well as other aircraft which has not been announced yet. This is an immense concentration of funds but has been described as a necessary move from Minister Großklotz as the defensive capabilites in every aspect but the navy are "not optimal." Most pundits see this as an exaggerated euphemism. This decision comes as both parties have agreed to the proposed compromise of EM Marissen including some modification. The VVP demanded the axing of state-funds in the pension system which hurts the OF's image as a paternal party. Continuing placating the VVP for this immense act of government investment is the liberalization of Nährrode which is now focussing on cashcrops such as coffee and increases its weight in its self-declared war against Xsampas strawberry dominance.
