Medinat Dpt. rumoured to attempt intervention as Istalian-Pontesian relations worsen

Albeit taking cue from Melikvan directly, the Deputy Head of the Medinat Department commented yesterday afternoon that "the Yeudi Homeland will stand firm with Pontesi", as news of an Istalian ban on trade and travel with Pontesi steadily hit media headlines around the world. It's important to note that, despite being centuries-old partners and once former allies at the dawn of the Neset's expansionism in 5288, the Beiteynuese Government has calmly distanced itself in recent years from its friend in Southeast Majatra.

As Pontesi takes a small hit in its investor confidence, the Deputy Director of the Saham, while attending a PENIS conference in Bannerhafen, assured journalists that the Yeudi People are hard committed and prepared to assist Pontesi via the Bannerpakt.

Along rumours of the Medinat Department attempting to help mediate between the two Majatran nations currently at odds with each other, other rumours of a potential Level 2 Reshimat Hara issuance for Istalia have began circulating, as well.

"We ask that Romula reconsiders such drastic measures", was the statement of Anna Kadiyot, the Head of the Medinat Dpt., earlier this morning.

Kohav to seek consultation from Artanian & Majatran partners on Lodamese naval deployment in Malivia

An MOD spokesperson announced earlier today the intentions of the Kohav to reach out to Artanian and Majatran security partners for an important security briefing in the 3rd Point in Narikaton and Darnussia regarding what seems to be a communique issued by the Office of Admiral. Eliab Pymer from the South-Western Command (Majatra) of the Lodamese Navy on an upcoming deployment of "advanced/forward units" to Malivia.

While the Ministry of Defence recognised the gesture from Lodamun on the "need to establish clear lines of communication", several high-ranking officers from the Beiteynuese Naval Command expressed concerns on the necessity of such a measure.

Chatter reached an all time high especially after an announcement by Kundrati on extending its patrol areas towards the Migrant's Pass.

The Migrant's Pass has indeed been a point of geopolitical tension for centuries. And it has been that due to individual nations acting entirely independent of collaborative frameworks with other nations.

It is precisely for that reason that the MSCO - a Majatran organisation - has been coordinating with Artanian nations via the JAMS framework for decades on end, both enhanced by the presence of the 3rd Point, a bilateral link between Artania and Majatra.

These are all collaborative frameworks, ones that have actually guaranteed security and stability for a long time.

While the actions of Lodamun and Kundrati are commendable and appreciated, we must remind the former that they are a Seleyan nation making a rather surprising decision to deploy advanced forces in a peaceful region.

And the latter did not consult with any of its security partners towards collaboratively ensuring peace in the face of rising diplomatic - and not military - tensions between Pontesi and Istalia. A Majatran affair by all counts.

Officials from the Beiteynuese Government confirmed that the "phone-sheet" includes but may not be limited to military and regional security liaisons from Wiel and the Jelbic Empire, Bannerhafen, Pontesi, Dundorf and Luthori.

It is presumed that the deployment of non-Artanian forces in Artania will be discussed in the upcoming Dorvish visit in Yishelem.

Yishelem warns of "dangerous rhetoric" as it cuts ties with Istalia; Medinat Dpt. blasts Xsampa

"We are not savages, there will be no retaliation", was the response of a rather disgruntled Anna Kadiyot - the Head of the Medinat Department - when asked to comment on the Beiteynuese Government's position to the recent news coming in from Romula.

Ms. Kadiyot then went on to confirm the issuance of a Level 2 Reshimat Hara for Istalia, meaning that BeiGov will no longer engage with their Istalian counterparts. It's important to remember that a Level 1 - which includes a Neset-wide embargo and sanctions - can only be issued after a 1st Azhara. 

Analysts have assumed that the potential of an armed conflict escalation is "highly unlikely", as Istalia does not seem to be moving into any direction towards acting against the Yeudi People, despite the "dangerous rhetoric" coming out of Southeast Majatra in recent years.

A spokesperson from the Ministry of Internal Affairs reminded journalists that "the Yeudi Homeland is a free country", re-affirming the Tzafrir Administration's prior stance that it would not be banning Il Proletario, the notorious communist magazine, or "any other publication".

Ms. Kadiyot concluded the press conference by blasting Xsampa for their recently published communique in what she referred to as "the highly controlled and selective media outlets of Xsampa".

When asked about any additional security measures to be taken in light of these developments, she declined to comment.

JAMS hangs by a thread as 3rd Point amps up pressure for the 1st Azhara against Lodamun

With the latest developments from Narikaton and Darnussia, Pontesi and Hobrazia standing firmly against the Lodamese deployment of military forces in Malivia, high-ranking military officers from the 3rd Point have been pressuring the Beiteynuese Naval Command and the Kohav in Himmelshtern to issue the 1st Azhara against Lodamun. The Medinat Dpt. has been pushing back, mostly eager to maintain relations with the North Seleyan country with which the Yeudi People and the Yeudi Homeland itself have enjoyed solid relations and trade for decades.

However, several officials from the Ministry of Defence in Yishelem have been sharing the sentiment with the 3rd Point, as of late.

While the Kundratijan Foreign Office attempted to explain its position in a recent statement, the Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command was extremely critical on his comments from the 3rd Point: "Kasaema is mistaken; the JAMS agreement does not allow enhanced patrols in the Migrant's Pass - it's meant for Artanians to signal a common understanding that independent actions in the region are counter-productive".

As the recent Dorvish visit in Yishelem yielded no results towards convincing Haldor to consider JAMS, the framework seems to hang by a thread.

Cohen Kadiyot, recently appointed Emergency Secretary-General of the MSCO, shared his criticism of Kundrati and Lodamun earlier this morning, noting that "at a time of internal tensions for Majatra, independent foreigners choose to test Yeudi and Jelbic patience".

Following in Lodamun's footsteps; Medinat Dpt. meets with Hobrazian officials to discuss military operations in Artania

It's been more than 100 years since the last time the Yeudi Homeland maintained a Zaar Fleet; naval forces stationed abroad, with the most historically controversial one being the Beikun Fleet in Kundrati. That is, if you exclude the Shahar Fleet deployment in Badara just a mere breath away from what later became a full blown out war with Lourenne in the Sea of Lost Souls in the 70s.

Zaar Fleets were under host nations; and they are a particular brand of the Yeudi Way in helping these host nations secure critical junctures. Enabling the Beiteynuese Government to secure the interests of the Neset and the Yeudi People.

From Kundrati to Istalia, Badara and all the way to Dankuk and Hanzen.

These days - and especially after the destruction of not one, but two carrier strike groups during the War of Lost Souls now sitting at the bottom of the ocean just off the coast of Kafuristan and Aldegar to the West - the Beiteynuese Naval Command's parked on the homeland's shores.

And on the notorious 3rd Point in Narikaton and Darnussia; the bilateral overwatch of the Yishelhafen Pact and the Migrant's Pass. Following the devastating defeats and the bitter stalemate signatures of the Treaty of Altatepec in Gaduridos, the 3rd Point eventually became the link between the MSCO and JAMS. A strategy woven into military and security operations and doctrines by both Himmelshtern and Bannerhafen.

JAMS is a story of mania and paranoia. A security framework shoved down the throats of Artanians by the makers of the Neset's past and present frameworks, the Medinat Department.

Yishelem's obsession with the Migrant's Pass traces back all the way to the 1st Malivian Crisis of modern times. A costly endeavour during the navy's build up, decades in the making.

Then came the 2nd Malivian Crisis - and everything changed. From Dorvik and Luthori pulling up and Kundrati operating on a whim, the Terran Remediation Agency's monumental failure at securing Malivia eventually brought war to the doorstep of the Migrant's Pass.

Outside the MSCO, reinvigorated by the Yeudi Homeland at the onset of the 54th century, there was little to no collaboration in Artania.

That petrified Yishelem: rogue actors, acting independently whenever they pleased, so close to home.

And then Dorvik faded - and everything changed again.

Albeit military officials from Pontesi, Beiteynu, Narikaton and Darnussia and the 3rd Point itself biting hard at the latest nation to enter a long line of solo-acting irrelevant players in the region, Lodamun, the Medinat Department tried to push back on the pressure. It eyed the latest developments as an opportunity to re-open a platform that Yishelem had long lost since the aftermath of the war with Lourenne.

With the Equifund's procurement machine hard at work for decades now trying to accommodate the ever increasing naval defence needs from both the region and the rising Jelbic Empire just to the south, the Ministry of Defence looks further outwards to ensure an umbrella in and out of the region.

An umbrella created by the opportunity brought forward by Lodamese military forces setting foot - and staying - on Artanian soil.

"Our talks with Hobrazian officials were very productive", Anna Kadiyot commented upon arrival at Bei Elion International Airport in Yishelem; "they understand the benefits of welcoming the 3rd Point's security apparatus from the Migrant's Pass, towards the Artanian Sea".

It seems that a Zaar Fleet will soon find its way on Artania, once again.

We have just received word that the military command of the Beiteynuese Defence Force in Yishelem issued the 1st Azhara of the 3-tier warning system to Dorvik, in response to Haldor's latest deployment of military assets to the Migrant's Pass.

A spokesperson from the Ministry of Defence was very particular about outlining the fact that the Dorvish position seems to preferentially omit the prior and existing deployment of military assets from Lodamun in Malivia.

Medinat Dpt. won't pursue military operations in Hobrazia after significant international pressure

Following a series of extended headlines from across multiple countries in response to the Medinat Department's initiation of talks with Hobrazian officials on expanding the 3rd Point's military operations towards the Artanian Sea, Anna Kadiyot herself announced that the Yeudi Homeland will no longer pursue the endeavour. Critics have cited that the final pushback was due to Haldor's mediation with Hobrazia.

The Ministry of Defence also issued an official apology to the Königreich for the issuance of the 1st Azhara, admitting it was a "false alarm". Military intelligence in the 3rd Point tracked several vessels heading southward via Allink and assumed them to be warships. The "hiccup" took place following the increased alertness of both Narik and Darnussian and Beiteynuese naval officials due to the Lodamese deployment.

The Naval Chief of the Beiteynuese Naval Command announced earlier today that the navy had deployed Kadima II, the carrier strike group of 6 warships to a patrol mission on the western banks of the Artanian continent, a "triple-check" security measure.

Following the geopolitical turmoil in the Migrant's Pass and its domino effect across more than a dozen nations around the world, stock markets in Beiteynu, Narikaton and Darnussia and Pontesi have had a hard time boosting investor confidence to prior levels. The post-incident shock to the Neset, coupled with the LFR's unsteadiness from Lourenne's recent domestic hiccup has ground the Yeudi Homeland's growth to a halt, bringing about further stagnation in the region, including but not limited to the Bannerpakt and private sector investments in Pontesi.

Although further spill-over has been generally counter-balanced by financial metrics from international markets revolving around Vanuku, Luthori, Kundrati, Lodamun and especially Gaduridos and Kalistan in recent years, the simultaneous blowback from the recent and rather abrupt cut-off of diplomatic and trade relations with the new regime in Istalia pushed back the little investor confidence that existed - even from Lourennais financial institutions who have been premier partners of Yeudi entrepreneurs in the last two centuries.

Despite Bannerhafen, Melikvan and Wiel taking the lead through a ridiculous upsurge of defence related dealings and contracts with the Equifund, the loss of confidence in the trilateral overwatch of the Migrant's Pass has significantly hurt trade relations and dealings.

It is with that context in mind that the Saham, the agency responsible for the Neset's global commercial and trade activity under the Ministry of Finance, is looking to initiate talks with regional partners in introducing a set of trade-centric provisos in what rumours seem to point out as an "upcoming upgrade" of the Yishelhafen Pact between Beiteynu and Narikaton & Darnussia - set to also include Pontesi and observer states.

3rd Point Federation springs up after regional consensus; Medinat Dpt. initiates amendment processes

From the mysterious bowels of the 3rd Point Base comes a joint announcement by state liaisons from Narikaton and Darnussia, Pontesi and Beiteynu towards a consensus reached in upgrading the existing Yishelhafen Pact into a more "broader regional security and trade overwatch". According to the statements provided, the new framework will include relevant provisos so as to include observer states in terms of accountability, oversight and visibility of military operations and commercial maritime traffic in the Migrant's Pass.

A spokesperson from the Medinat Department noted on the importance of involving immediate and long-term partners, praising the cooperative spirit displayed by the Jelbic and Canrillaise Empires and Vanuku and Lourenne accordingly. The Head of the Medinat Dpt. herself, Anna Kadiyot, also reaffirmed Yishelem's solid interest in including Gaduridos and Kalistan, as the former has shown a continued growth as a trading hub with potential interests towards the West, and the latter in a fashion of "mutual respect" insofar as the Ananto Strait Accords are concerned.
