Nadiya

Nadiya and Bianjie occupy relatively unique positions respective to their regions, but both are renowned for their stable governments that manage to steady the ship even in times of tensions or turmoil that would've threatened the foundation of nations that aren't prepared for such ordeals. So it was more than logical that under Bacque's governorship of the NCB, the two countries' central banks would cooperate and further each other's own interests.

Alexandra Bacque went to Gemun, the capital of the Bianjie Khanate to discuss the alleys of cooperation between the two countries in the fields of financial administration, currency stability, and debt management. On top of that, discussions were held on policies that would ensure the continued stability of two the financial entities against inflammatory waves caused by financial bubbles or general spikes in disruptions in the flow of people and goods.

The meeting resulted in the two entities ratifying a formal cooperation agreement that encompasses policies such as currency stabilization, exchange of bonds, and establishement of offices to allow for a far smoother relay of information between the two banks given how Nadiya and Bianjie have been renowned for their financial wiseness that consist of keeping reasonable deficits whilst using overboard funds to invest in long term projects that secure the future of the two countries.

The Radinese Commonwealth of Peoples founded in 5623 after the fusion of the Polina Pavlina Institute and the Rodashyam Revolutionary Commune in the wake of the treaty of Petrograd, the republic has a history of being consistently led by communist government in some shape of form to the point where the People's Proletarian Union of Radin is considered as the natural party of governance since for the past 94 years, 90 were under a communist government. Oddly enough, the Commonwealth remained a capitalistic laissez-faire state for the past 94 years until today with the passage of a new constitution.

The Radin Electoral High Authority announced the results at 11pm yesterday, the new constitution was approved of by 74% of voters with a recorded turnout of 67,2%. The new constitution was proposed by the PPUR government after their recent electoral victory against the Liberal Federation of Radin during snap elections triggered by the collapse of their government with the failure to pass a budget.

During the constitutional convention held by the republic, it was agreed upon that Radin will transition into a fully communist multiparty democratic state with a centralized planned economy that follow the ideals of Leonid and the historic charters of Nadiyan communists. Radin would also openly advocate for their fellow sister republics to also switch to communism with the end goal being the transition of the confederal government into a red one.

At midnight, the President of the Commonwealth, Silvestrov Potap Vadimovich, proclaimed the Radinese Soviet Socialist Republic and formation of an alliance with the Lesnovian Soviet Socialist Republic known as the Nadiyan Confederation of Soviet Republics to transition Nadiya into a communist state. As the new flag of the Commonwealth was being raised, news about the Brakav's Communist Unity Party launching a similar procedure to form a Brakavan SSR similar to Radin since the party has also dominated Brakav's politics for a while.

Developments in the Nadiyan political world have been interesting to say the least, Radin's transition into a Soviet Socialist Republic and the formation of an alliance between Lesnov and Radin with the explicit goal to steer Nadiya toward becoming a sovietic union. Yet matters keep unfolding quickly as the recent results from Brakavan general elections have signaled that another republic will join the red tide.

The High Instance for Elections, Brakav's own independent electoral commission, confirmed the results tonight with the Workers' Soviet Union of Brakav won a plurality of the seats in the Bundestag alongside securing the presidency of the republic in a landslide victory with their candidate securing 63% of the votes.

Already, the AvB has announced that they will start the process to hold a constitutional convention in regards to the transition of the Democratic Free Republic toward becoming Nadiya's third Soviet Socialist Republic. The news was welcomed warmly by both Lesnov and Radin as both republics praised a "wise and thoughtful decision from our Brakavan comrades in their peaceful path for the liberation of the proletariat."

Vrosnok and Kozacchyna released a joint state describing the development in Brakav as "worrisome but within their right to choose their own future", Haivan's government and the Confederal government abstained from commenting on the situation other than congratulating the AvB for the victory in the elections.

In a historic and ground breaking result, the High Instance for Elections has released the official results of the 5718 constitutional referendum for the adoption of a new, sovietic, and communist constitution which gave the yes option an overwhelming victory over the opposition.

With 68,2% of registered voters and a recorded turnout of 72%, the Brakavan Free Democratic Republic was disbanded and replaced with the new Brakavan Soviet Socialist Republic alongside becoming the third member of the Nadiyan Confederation of Soviet Socialist Republics. And already, Freya Essen, the Head of the Brakavan Soviet has announced that BSSR will begin funding both the Kozaki Communist Party and the Haivan Indigenous Metzists-(Reformists) to turn Kozacchyna and Haivan into the next SSRs.

Furthermore, the leaders of Radin, Lesnov, and Brakav's Communist parties have met in Rodashyam with the leadership of the All-Nadiyan Communist Party to pressure the confederal party to reform itself and adopt an openly communist economic mindset given how its history as one of Nadiya's most economically liberal party has caused their collapse in confederal elections compared to local ones.

On the other hand, markets have reacted negatively to the growing influence of communist movements especially Soviet ones that call for the reestablishing of a Soviet Union. The confederal government has yet to respond to the NCSSR's demands to call in a new Constitutional Convention.

The 69th edition of the Pan-Nadiyan Olympic, Paralympic, and Youth games concluded today with the Free Sublime Republic of Kozacchyna being crowned the big winner of this edition.

The Kozaki Olympic delegation came in prepared in both size and skill, their team counted 240 athletes in all fields while the other republics were content with only sending around 190 to 210 athletes in specific sports that they knew were their safe goals, but that all changed when Kozacchyna joined with their team.

The Kozaki national anthem was played more than the Nadiyan anthem this season as Kozacchyna secured 370 medals with 164 of them being gold, more than any other delegations, 96 silver medals and the rest being silvers. This edition of the pan Nadiyan games has shown that Kozacchyna can easily outperform Radin and defy all odds especially when they're considered as the underdog of their fellow sister republics in the field of sportsmanship.

Furthermore, during the crowning of Kozacchyna as the grand winner, the Nadiyan Commission for Youth, Sports, and their Affairs, has announced that the Nadiyan Olympic Federation official out forward Nadiya's candidacy to hold the 5725 Winter Olympic, Paralympic, and Youth games. The NCYSA has already announced that major renovations and expansion of already existing Olympic villages and facilities will be organized according to the planned schedule of the next Pan-Nadiyan games planned for 5722 which leaves only a 3 year gap until the Terran Olympic games make their way to Nadiya.

Brakav, Lesnov, and Radin; Why do communists succeed locally but not confederally?

An opinion piece written by Dr. Savvina Lenka, for the Confederal Institute for Administration

Communist movements, at least the ones from the 56th century onward, have a rather long and tumultuous history in Nadiyan politics. From the Trigunian Communist Party being one of the original authors of the October Revolutionary Declaration, to the appearance of two openly communist states during the Trigunian Disaster, to leading the NEC administration that brought about the Confederation, yet the All-Nadiyan Communist Party has seen its vote share steadily collapsing and their relevance in Confederal matters fade away at an alarming rate. But why is this happening? Why does the ANCP struggle to secure more than 10% of the votes when they used to secure 30%? Is the confederal leadership of the party oblivious to the changes in Nadiya or do they simply choose to ignore them?

For starters we need to know the historical context of the communist presence in the Nadiyan archipelago so we give a clear picture of how the party was founded. The origins of modern Nadiyan communists can be traced back to the Trigunian Communist Party, an originally illegal underground party that emerged after the lifting of the one party state in 5555 under the Tsardom, the party was led ever since its founding by Sashura Zaytseva who managed to foster an electoral alliance with the Utopianists and liberal alongside securing the governorship over Lesnov. It was in Lesnov that the first cases of the bloody tears which spiralled into the Tsardom facing a major economic crisis and its eventual collapse in a civil war.

The Lesnovian Soviet Socialist Republic, as we know it, was founded on the first of October 5562 as part of the October Revolutionary Declaration, the LSSR itself was governed by the All-Lesnovian People's Soviet with Sashura Zaytseva at its helm. Whilst most communists and their sympathizers migrated to their new safe haven Lesnov, the rest were scattered across the different warlords with some creating an anarcho-communist state called the Trigunian Red and Black Army in central Brakav during the Second Western Rebellion of 67. The two states claimed to be communists with their own adaptation of Metz's ideals, but other than providing funds to communist partisans in Tsarist territories, nothing really made the communists stand out in Nadiyan affairs.

However, this all changed in 5585 when the Nadiyan Economic Community established a legislative body elected directly by the citizens of its 7 member states in a proportional manner. The LSSR and TRBA's national parties, the VNS and NS respectively, announced the formation of the All-Nadiyan Communist Unification Party, the first openly pan-nadiyan party that supported the liberation of the isles and their unification which garnered them a loyal voting base and making them one of the NEC's four major political parties as they constitutional secured at least 20% of the votes and made them a major player when it comes to government negotiations, but they remained in the opposition for most of that time.

The situation changed in the wake of the official destruction of Trigunia and the ratification of one of Terra's most humiliating capitulation treaties, the Treaty of Petrograd that dismantled Trigunia as a political, societal, and economical entity; banned male heirs of any royal dynasty to claim any titles, partitioned the archipelago into 5 free republics, and forced the defeated Trigunian officials to pay reparations to fund the reconstruction efforts. Notably in that treaty, Lesnov managed to double its territory and gaining access to valuable oil and gas deposits alongside REM and uranium clusters, the TRBA was merged with the Brakavan Free Democratic Republic and allowed for communists and anarchists alike to infiltrate the Dundorfian republic.

Shortly after the conclusion of the war, the ANCUP with their allies the Socialist Revolutionary Association for Nadiyan Unity, they swooped the Nadiyan General Assembly and led the NEC with a supermajority. During the Ruslan administration, the ANCUP successfully passed a bunch of social reforms and workers friendly laws, effectively putting the NEC on the course of adopting a socialist economy. Yet, the ANCUP also gained a reputation for being extremely liberal economically since they passed deregulation laws, cut back on red tape for sectors, and power transfers toward the NCB.

The Communists didn't even try to improve their reputation as it was their representatives during the first Constitutional Convention that pushed for the adoption of a state capitalist economic model to "ensure the continued prosperity of Nadiya while the transition toward a proletarian state is underway." This statement was fiercely rejected by local communist parties that make up the ANCUP as a "shameless capitulation to the manipulation tactics of the bourgeoisie."

Paradoxically, their economic liberalism was what helped them stay relevant during the 5643 confederal elections which saw the pastels returning to power and launching a series of thunder reforms aimed at rewiring the entire Nadiyan financial model and handling of both its debt and currency strength. The ANCP protested Chief Executive Konstantinovna's harsh austerity measures that suspended the allocated retirements given to seniors, destroyed the budget allocated to the Nadiyan Confederated Forces, and gave free reign to the Nadiyan Central Bank to carry out their purge of the financial world.

Even then, the ANCP failed to successfully turn frustrated voters toward, they instead all flocked to the Hosian Matriarchal Democratic Party and allowed them to secure a historic 44,64% of the votes in the 5670 confederal elections while the People's Alliance for Nadiya kept falling even further. The Thaller administration that succeeded Konstantinovna wasn't much better either, they kept all of the policies implemented by the previous government but added in their own twist by incorporating the teachings of the Matriarchal Church of Nadiya alongside pulling back funds for men's rights organizations due to them being "overly woke to the point of being toxic and unnatural."

The 5685 elections had given a semblance of hope to the supporters of the ANCP since the HMDP had lost 13% of the vote share and those same votes went directly toward PAN with 10% going specifically toward the All-Nadiyan Communist Party frustrated from the Kerisian War and the tole it took on their lives. This allowed the communists to successfully force the hand of the HMDP to form a coalition government with them, but instead of actually carrying out actually popular policies like implementing more worker oriented reforms or even raising the minimum wage, the communists pushed forward a retirement and elderly payments reform that raised the retirement age in Nadiya from 55 to 65 alongside abolishing the tex exemptions given to the elderly as a way to facilitate their lives, and to add onto that, those reforms were proposed by the NCB and even welcomed warmly by them.

This decision was the final nail in the coffin for the ANCP, their poll numbers collapsed, local parties openly rebelled against the confederal leadership of the party, and their number of MPs was halved in the 5695 confederal elections while local communist organizations flourished on their hatred of the confederal parties while voters instead moved to the Pastels which allowed them to secure historic wins and paving the way for Nadiya's transition from a healthy multiparty democracy toward a PCP hyper dominance following the incorporation of the Technocrats and Indigenous into the alliance.

However, there's still hope for communism in Nadiya. Indeed, opinion polls conducted by the Nadiyan Commission for Statistics, Forecasts, and Censuses report that 73,2% of the population views favorably or really favorably the principles preached by communist philosophers and think tanks, as a matter of fact, 61,8% say they would support the transition of the Nadiyan Confederation from a free market economy toward a planned one based on the teachings of Leonid and Metz.

This can be seen in Radin and Brakav, two republics historically dominated by their own respective communist parties, have both decided to dissolve their capitalist systems and replacing them with Soviet ones. The two brand-new SSRs then decided to form an alliance with the other historically communist republic in Nadiya, Lesnov. Now those three have began openly advocating for the transition toward a Soviet system and the abolition of capitalism all together in the isles, but it seems that the leadership of the ANCP has yet to answer those calls.

The People's Democratic Reformation Caucus, the current rulling party faction and the cause behind the ANCP adoption of neoliberalism as its economic doctrine, has began to crackdown on dissident forces especially from the Sublime Revolutionary Workers and Farmers Caucus, and the Sovietic Restoration for Liberation, the anarchist and hard-line leonidist caucuses, which have historically denounced the PDRC for their "betrayal of the proletariat" have urged party members to press the reformists to hold another party congress and allow for an open primary to be held so the party can finally tap into the existing pro-communist sentiment among the population and flip the situation around.

Finally, my personal opinion is that Nadiya flipping to communism is unavoidable outcome and one that isn't ignored by capitalist class from the Terran Economic Forum yet the leadership of the All-Nadiyan Communist Party can be considered as functionally braindead for repeatedly failing to seize opportunities and instead keep digging their own grave because apparently not listening to popular demands and letting your enemies snatch away your votes is the best way to orchestrate a revolution in Nadiya. My message is clear and final, the communists need to urgently wake up or their leaders will be the death of their entire movement.

It was more than logical that the franchise will begin expanding outward, but Tukarali was definitely an odd choice.

The caste of judges was revealed by the Network on social media through a series of promotional posts. The main judge and host Solana Royale previous winner of All-Queens 3 and Tukaralise drag icon, she was the natural choice for production especially with her natural charisma and talent. The success of Dragrace Tukarali and the growing of a loyal fanbase that's already demanding for a second season has shown that the Nadiyan News Network's great gambit in the world of entertainment is finally paying off. Viewership numbers are hitting record numbers, subscriptions to the Network streaming services has skyrocketed, and the request ballot and candidacies for new shows is overwhelming the staff. They've now also expanded into the world of animated works.

The new studio, specifically dedicated for the production and supervision of animated works be it 2D or 3D, was green lit by the Nadiyan Commission for Television, Radio, and Broadcasting on the basis of both expanding the Network's portfolio and target audience. Polaris has already announced that they will take over the already preexisting children's TV shows and double the salaries of their animators, voice actors, artists, and writers alongside allowing for total creative freedom to their creative teams.

Furthermore, the studio has announced that they have already green lit the production of 7 animated works for 3 seasons those being the Incredible Fictional Faire, the Fools of Gaia, the Circles of Hell, Matrix Runners, the Cat Symphony, Summer Ballades, and the Tales of RT-2. The Nadiyan News Network has also encouraged both individuals and organizations to come forward and present their own projects so they can be reviewed and green lit by Polaris Entertainment without worrying about the costs given that the both the Network and the studio are fully funded by the Nadiyan government.

"This a once in a lifetime opportunity for both Nadiyan and global artists." Says Panina Agasha, creator of the Incredible Fictional Faire. "I can already see Nadiya becoming the artistic capital of the world where artists, singers, and writers can freely express themselves and see their projects fulfilled without worrying about rejection by studios for being not mainstream or costly."

In a stunning development, the Supreme Cooperative Court of the Nadiyan Confederation has ruled the current PCP supermajority as unconstitutional and orders for its immediate dissolution following a trial launched by the Socialist Revolutionary Association of Nadiya.

The trial that led to the justices forcing the dismantling of the Pastels was launched by the Socialist Revolutionary Association of Nadiya, a founding member of the People's Alliance for Nadiya and current opposition leader, shortly after it was leaked that PCP leadership planned to merge all member parties of the coalition. The issue was first examined by the Chamber of Justices where the SRs accused the Pastels of undermining Nadiyan democracy and the principles of the October revolution by openly violating article 2-1 of the Nadiyan constitution.

When debates in the CoJ failed to give anything fruitful, the matter was raised to a confederal judge which ruled in favor of PAN's case, but PCP defense decided to break the judgement and take the matter to the Supreme Cooperative Court. The "War of Colours", as it was nicknamed on the media, took nearly 2 years to be completed as both sides kept on bringing more and more proofs to defend their cause.

Ultimately, the Supreme Justices ruled with a crushing majority of 14-0 the unconstitutionality of the Pastels' current composition and domination of the Nadiyan legislative body. The judges in their statements described the current PCP majority as a "blatant violation of article 2-1 of the Nadiyan Confederation, a betrayal of the values of the October Revolution, and an unjustifiable attack against the right of every Nadiyan citizen sound of mind and logic in their choice of national representation and democratic promises guaranteed fo them by article 3-3 of the Constitution. As such, we order that the Pastel Coalition For Progress begins the process of dismantling it's organization and let go of its members."
"

To shed some clarity, article 2-1 of the Nadiyan constitution is known as the multiparty democracy amendment" which states:
"The Nadiyan Confederation is a multiparty, free, sovereign, and parliamentary democracy which prohibits any parties from rulling by themselves through the control of the Nadiyan General Assembly. As such, elections for Assembly members shall strictly be conducted using proportional representation and any party winning more than or equal to 45% of the popular vote will be forced to dismantle into smaller parties or give up the excess seats untill the balance is restored."

The Nadiyan Confederation, and its predecessor the Nadiyan Economic Community, have been holding their own TOC approved Olympic games known as the Nadiyan Games every 4 years ever since 5580 originally to push unification ideals but they quickly became a broader celebration of Nadiyan athletes after unification. So it was more than natural that Nadiya puts forward its candidacy to hold the 5725 winter Olympic, Paralympic, and Youth games, following the revival of the Terran Olympic Committee by Valruzia.

However, instead of simply hosting the Olympic games, Nadiya will also hold and organize the first ever editions of the Winter Paralympic and Youth Games in the history of the TOC. The combined Olympic, Paralympic, and Youth games will be held across the 6 constituent republics of Nadiya to showcase the diversity of the Confederation and its landscape using the games as a major boost to its touristic industry.

In addition to that, the Nadiyan Commission for Health, Hospital Reform, and Public hygiene assured that all foreign citizens will have access to the universal healthcare offered by the Confederation and will be treated on equal footing to native citizens, meaning that they will be granted temporary coverage by the Social Solidarity Fund, the state owned insurance company, and thus making any of their medical needs free of charge.

Furthermore, Nadiya unveiled in front of the Terran Olympic Committee the mascots of the upcoming games. Nadia and Ivan, respectively named after Nadiya and the current Commissioner for Youth and Sports Ivan Luchok, they're two ferrets originating from Radin with Nadia representing the regular games while Ivan represents the Paralympics given that he was born without a leg and uses his tail as a replacement.
