The Red Bass War; Xsampa begins mobilization in reaction to war declaration.

War has been declared. The fascistic barbarians in Yishelem have done the impossible. After months of tensions, Beitenyu has declared war on Xsampa and struck at our fleets on the Red Bass, causing heavy casualties. As such, a general mobilization order has been initiated and the XDA has begun mobilization with a strong focus on the XDAN and XDAAF. Comrade Aurousseau has addressed the nation after the November Declaration.

Comrades.

It is with every pain in my heart, that I must say this. Xsampa is at war. Not just any normal war, but a war of survival. It was my hope that tensions with Yishelem would be cooled. Evidently they have proven me wrong and not only unjustly declared war on Xsampa for standing up to foreign imperialism, but have launched an attack on the Xsampan Navy in the Red Bass Ocean. Many lives have already been lost. Reinforcements were quickly deployed and were able to stabilize the situation but as it stands, more must be done. This is a war of survival as I said. The fascistic menace in Yishelem has looked to cripple not just a Proletarian state, but a state standing up for itself in Dovani. For too long has Dovani been a victim. A victim of colonialism, imperialism and exploitation. Just as it seemed a nation would arise to end that, Beitenyu has looked to curb it. This is not a war for resources or ideology, but a war of freedom. Of survival. Should Xsampa fall, our way of life will fall. Our freedom, our equality, our revolution. But also all of Dovani. All of Dovani will be at risk of exploitation once again.

I am not asking much, but for your confidence and strength. We stand at a turning point in history and the coming months will test Xsampa and affect history. But we will prevail against imperialism. If imperialism wants to deny the possibility of a free Dovani, then we will fight to defend Dovani and our way of life from foreign imperialism. The history of these days will be written in blood, but we will overcome. The Xsampan Revolution is survive, and Dovani will be freed from foreign imperialism. We have given every opportunity for Yishelem to be reasonable, and they have instead chosen to display to the world that they refuse any compromises. Our hand has been forced to the worst outcome: war. We will fight, not because we want to, but because we have no other choice.

The revolution is at threat. The freedom of Xsampa and Dovani is at risk. Yishelem has shown itself for what it is. A warmongering tyrant that will snub out any opposition. We must stand united and we must fight. The XDA requires every Xsampan to do their part. Conserve fuel, volunteer where you can, and support our comrades in the XDA. We must defend ourselves, and our way of life. We ask every Comrade to do their part. For a future that is golden and eternal, we must endure this storm and repel the fascist barbarians from Dovani. Every bullet produced, every round fired against Yishelem is a move to defend our way of life. Yishelem will claim freedom, stability and defending peace, but they are soulless. They will take and tarnish our way of life, our equality, our success and our freedom. Dark days are ahead but we will prevail.

Reconsideration of relations with Kundrati; Sunshine Policy shines through.

The Sunshine Policy was able to befriend Luthori and Vascania, and it has shown that the best way to eliminate enemies is to befriend them. And then comes the curious case of Kundrati. Another state that is hostile to Beitenyu. As war rages on, more allies will always be needed and it seems that there in lies an opportunity. As it stands, Kundrati presents a golden opportunity to reduce the influence of Beitenyu, but it remains utterly hostile to Kalistan. A nation that Xsampa has had few ties with in the past. Yet one cannot deny that the nation holds imperialism near and dear. It is commendable for opposing imperialism in Seleya, but it is also recognized that Kalistan does conduct imperialism on its own continent. Such a precedent is dangerous for the Seleyan Proletariat.

As such, a new approach is needed. It is pointless to continue the shunning of Kundrati, and it is often for the best to recognize that things change. As such, the current Legionary State of Kundrati will formally be recognized by the Democratic Republic of Xsampa. It is recognized that the Legionary State has been chosen by the people of Kundrati, and are legal representatives of the will of the people. Alongside this, solidarity will be shared with our comrades facing Kalistani imperialism, both in Seleya and abroad. While imperialism from them is low in Dovani, the international proletariat cannot be neglected. As such, while ties with this imperialistic power are minor, they shall be severed. Any existing embassies will be closed and any trade that exists will be ceased, and an embargo will be placed until imperialism is dissolved. 

As such, whether it be in Dovani, Artania or Seleya, imperialism of all flags and colours must be opposed. For that, we must be open to friends of the proletariat where they appear. And in this case, Kundrati has showcased that it presents a rather unorthodox approach to uplifting the proletariat, but still an approach. As such, they must be supported. While it's questioned if they can be considered comrades, it is clear that they are victims of foreign imperialism and we must support them. As such, they shall be considered friends from the People's Committee of Foreign Affairs. This means open cooperation with Kundrati is on the table and will be done. Whether it be expanded trade or military cooperation, Xsampa will stand in solidarity with Kundrati, and Kundrati will stand in solidarity with Xsampa. They will have full Xsampan recognition, and support. In exchange, it is expected that Kundrati will support Xsampa in any endeavors that is required.

XDAN reinforcements to the Red Bass; Despite reinforcements, no gains are made.

After the attack by fascist forces in the Red Bass Ocean, the XDAN was put on the backfoot and forced to retreat to reorganize. Such a move leaves the Red Bass at further risk and that cannot be allowed. As such, the extra reinforcements, particularly from the Sovereign Sea patrol zone had be allocated to reinforce the Red Bass Fleet. While they didn't die, they didn't exactly make any gains and were only able to stabilize and reinforce.

This leaves the current situation at a stalemate as the Red Bass War drags on and pressure increases on Beitenyu from foreign comrades. While it is possible to divert more assets or use other means to force a breakthrough, such a move is bound to be risky. In any case, the bleeding has been stopped as XDAN reinforcements have been able to prevent the possibility of Beitenyu pushing us back into the Sovereign Sea. Unfortunately gains weren't possible and the lines have hardly changed if at all. Losses remain high and this can arguably be considered a failure of an effort. But it is one that can be overcome. The Central Committee has refused to give any major comments due to "national security", and as such, it is left towards the PCI to speculate what the next moves will be to bring down fascism and imperialism.

Whatever happens next, it is clear that this war will be costly in terms of lives and while the aircraft carrier (aptly named Boaty McBoat Face) has not yet been put towards the Red Bass Front, should that occur, then perhaps a break through can be forced and Rafales can assist in pushing Beitenyu back. Whether the aircraft carrier sees action or retains it's current position, it's clear that the XDAN will need all the support it can get. Comrades, make sure to donate whatever you can to the XDAN, for the revolution, and for our very way of life. We will repel the attackers and safeguard a Dovani free from imperialism.

Boaty McBoat Face sails Eastwards; Making moves on Red Bass

As the Red Bass War continues, the jointly made aircraft carrier, Boaty McBoat Face remains a major triumph card that Xsampa holds. However, it has yet to see action. Until now. As of today, XNS Boaty McBoat Face will sail eastwards, passing the Rapa Straits and enter the Red Bass Ocean to enact more pressure on Yeudi fleets remaining in the area, and to ensure Beitenyu is stretched out even more. While no official engagements are expected or anticipated, this move is more about sending a message to Yishelem than actually attacking. With an opportunity presented, the XDAN will need to make moves, and with Boaty McBoat Face leading that efforts, we can expect the XDAN in the area to follow suite.

With Boaty McBoat Face being a major asset, it can assist any naval asset immensely with the ability to deploy Rafales. Again however, it is unlikely Boaty McBoat Face will see engagement. As the Red Bass War continues on, we cannot waver, and while we have strong assets such as Boaty McBoat Face, we cannot sit idle and run the risk of letting Beitenyu destroy everything we've worked for. 

As we move eastwards, we have the capacity to push Beitenyu back even more and bring down the biggest threat to the Proletariat, and to Dovani. We cannot falter. More effort will be needed to bring down the threat Yishelem presents. Boaty McBoat Face is the first effort, but certainly not the last. As Beitenyu is forced to leave Traitors Depth, and is spread thin, we must press the advantage. Alongside with their failed IBRM attacks, we have no reason to sit idle. We must press the advantage and push forward.

Skirmish in the Vascanian Sea results in failure; Xsampan casualties and loss.

After Boaty McBoat Face ventured eastwards, the XDAN looked south to the Vascanian Sea. After a failed IBRM attack by Beitenyu, it was clear that the fleet in the Vascanian Sea was a major threat. As such, some assets of the XDAN in the Sovereign Sea would sail southwards to bring down the imperialistic fleet. Unfortunately, the XDAN was forced to retreat. Opponents will say it was because the Yeudi fleets overpowered the XDAN but they would be wrong. As it would appear, XDAN forces found mold on their ships and figured to simply destroy the whole thing entirely. So comrades, if you're worried about the loss of XDAN assets, don't be. All damages are 100% intentional.

Despite the fleet still existing, it is likely that Boaty McBoat Face going eastwards will place more pressure on Yishelem and force that fleet to redeploy. If it doesn't, we can be sure that the XDAN will be able to scramble reinforcements to put down the dangerous fleet. On the other hand, a spearhead can be attempted to try to draw closer to the other side of the Red Bass, and put even more pressure on Beitenyu. With Boaty McBoat Face presenting an ample opportunity, it can be done and force the Vascanian Sea Fleet to either redeploy or move into more unfavourable positions.

In any case, again comrades. The fleet remains, but it was not because they successfully repealed the XDAN. The Yeudi fleets are incapable of such a thing. Our admirals simply discovered dangerous mold on the ships and decided to scrap it out right. Entirely intentional. As such, the attack was forced to be rescheduled, but it is likely other avenues can be taken. Only dissidents will claim that the Yeudi fleet crushed the XDAN.
